After an awful experience with an online "specialist" landlord estate agent, we switched to Ryder and Dutton to sell the rest of our portfolio and the first with them recently completed. Really smooth process from start to finish and did not take any longer than the original company that claimed to be much quicker than high street companies. They have he biggest presence in the Oldham and Chadderton area and we found their local knowledge to be very useful. More importantly, their communication was exceptional. Jenny Boyle, the move manager, made sure we knew exactly where we were up to without having to be prompted. It was so refreshing after having to constantly (and unsuccessfully) chase the previous firm for even a snippet of an update. I just hope the rest go just as smoothly.

Was very pleased with the end result. Our buyer's solicitors were very slow and caused us issues throughout the whole process. Giving one star as trying to buy a property is so hard with this agency, they put the house on for asking price let’s say 170.000 and even if u offer around 5,000 more, your offer will get rejected. Offered on a couple of houses with good offers according to the property and property area and still got rejected as if they just don’t want to sell a property to us, will be looking at other agencies then wasting time on this one.

I moved from North Wales to Huddersfield which was not straightforward as my first two buyers pulled out a week before completion, but I am happy to say my third buyer saw it through to the end. It was an extremely stressful time but Nichola and all the team at Ryder & Dutton, and most importantly their clients stayed the course with me and I have now been in my new home for the past two weeks and I couldn't be happier. Not a great experience. Falsified feedback from a viewing that did not happen: I was asked to show viewer around as R&D not available. However, viewer did not show up. R&D provided me with feedback for a visit which clearly did not take place.At another viewing, R&D arranged accompanied viewing. The agent had not been to my property before, was not familiar with the property and went to the wrong property at the appointment time. Luckily, I was still in the local area and was able to return to the house to show the viewers around. After several frantic phone calls, R&D eventually showed up just as the viewers were leaving.These viewers went on to purchase the property. Had I not been nearby to show them around, I could have potentially lost the sale.On the whole, a very stressful process.

We found a home we wanted to purchase by accident and as such needed to move quickly and get ours on sale. We chose Ryder and Dutton and within a couple of days we met with Leanne for our valuation and we were on the market at a price we were very happy with. The valuation process itself was very informative and in no way pressured or rushed. We were on the market within days and the photos and marketing were really good! Once on the market we were under the care of Martha who understanding our needs, quickly got us plenty viewings and an offer within 2 1/2 weeks FOR FULL ASKING price. The service has been incredibly informative and helpful and the communication has been fantastic. Would definitely recommend to anyone selling their house!

Fantastic service with both selling and purchasing. Elizabeth was in charge of both our sale and purchase and gave exemplary customer service, she was always quick to communicate with us and very friendly and helpful. Michael the branch manager was also extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help make our purchase as smooth as possible.
