Now we have zoopla for previous sold prices back to 1995 and by using rightmove with the propertybee firefox addon you can see a history of changes made to the property listing which can be very revealing! The draw a search area function is fantastic too. Rightmove seems to have become so ubiquitous there is no need to search anywhere else when house hunting, it'll be on rightmove a day or two after it hits the market at most.

We have an option under the Filter tab to click on 'Don't Show: Retirement Property' which will remove retirement properties from your search. The service rep was unable to answer my question directly but promised to forward my request to the tech department to see if anything could be accomplished. I look forward to hearing back (I hope). I do give props for a very quick response so it seems that Rightmove does take their client base seriously.

I reported an obviously out-of-date advertisement to RightMove (an option to buy land - the option has expired) which is still there over a month after my report. It does make me wonder whether I can trust other properties to be still available.This is more than just a technicality as the impression that this land is available for development can affect the value of existing properties in the area.

Totally agree with other reviewers about the new website, can’t understand why its changed from a good easy to navigate site to this mess! Yes, you can access street view and market info, but it is now deeply imbedded and more difficult find and if you want to see what has sold in a particular road historically ....well, give up and use another site which I am going to do.

I have previously held the rent protection policy, for a number of years with Van Mildert, who have been excellent.I now understand that Van Mildert have been taken over by Rightmove Landlord and Tenant Services Ltd. I feel that contacting Rightmove, has been a frustrating experience, trying to get hold of them. I only hope that there will be an improvement in their service to landlords.

Been especially difficult working with Van Mildert. I see they've replied within minutes of bad trustpilot reviews, but take days to reply to emails. There's zero clarity with what's going on. They contact estate agents to say you've failed the checks *before* even contacting you asking for the evidence!? Then you have to spend all your time chasing them up when that's supposed to be their job. Terrible communication. Avoid
