Auction house were brilliant

Auction house were brilliant! We found ourselves needing to move quickly as we’d outgrown our home with an extra baby and needed to move before I went back to work. We had considered using webuyanyhouse but they kept reducing the price they’d pay. Chris gave us great advice, we dropped the guide price to get some more interest and we ended up £70k better off than using our other options. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris and the team at Auction House. Thank you for helping us move!

Having never auctioned a house before I wasn’t sure of the process and how it worked. I dealt with James Pank who was patient, supportive and professional from beginning to end. Auction properly purchase

House Sale

After 2 sales fell through for my late parents home at the signing contract stage I decided to go through the Auction process. The stages of the Auction was explained in detail to me by a nice person called Dean Fenton. I've never used an Auction before, but I wouldn't hesitate in using Auction House again. Sale of HMO through auction

We recently sold a property with Auction House. We have used many other similar auction property agents previously, but this was the first time we had used the above property agent.We were assigned Jordan Rowe as our agent .We don’t usually write reviews, we only do so if we have received exceptional service, hence , why we are writing this review.We initially met with Jordan at the house we wanted to sell, we had also met with three other similar agents that same day. After a couple of minutes, my partner and myself ( the co-owner of the house) knew immediately that Jordan was going to be the agent we wanted to instruct. His professionalism and understanding of our business and our objectives was outstanding. His down to earth approach, and professional knowledge was extremely impressive, and we signed up the same afternoon giving our instructions to Jordan.After this initial meeting, Jordan subsequently got the ball rolling ,so to speak ,and we were up and running with the advertising of our house which was completed in a very short period of time. Throughout our journey of sale, Jordan made regular contact with us (keeping us fully informed) and talked us through every step of the auction process.The house then sold at auction very quickly ,and we achieved our sale !There were no issues at all .We honestly cannot recommend Jordan enough. Their website is a joke, I cannot log in saying with it saying "email address and password are incorrect" even though it is the Google saved information from when originally registered and logging in, So I try password reset and get "email address not recognised" Which is odd as they send emails to that email address! reminding me about the properties I was watching (which I cannot log at as I cannot log in)

Bryony and Stephen were excellent from the Leeds office. I was very nervous selling a property through auction, but they reassured me and walked me through the process. They communicated with me weekly on progress, how many people had requested the pack/ registered to bid, and what I could expect on the day. I felt that they held my hand throughout and gave solid, honest advice. On the day, I was able to live stream the auction and if also felt like the auctioneer was doing the very best for the clients, he was trying to get the best price for each property and my property sold for quite a bit more than the guide price. I was over the moon! I would absolutely recommend the Auction House and their team. Thank you!

Very easy and honest throughout.

Very easy process throughout, James Pank was very approachable, polite and most importantly honest regarding the auction of our flat. It was a difficult one to sell due to issues with the lease, but James guided us through the process and everything went smoothly.Our contact Stephen was great at keeping us informed about how the pre auction planning was going including arranging viewing days. He then let us know how the viewing had gone and whether there had been interest in the legal pack. On the day of auction James rang and said honestly there had been very little interest and he may need to withdraw the property from the auction, but later that day he rang back to let us know it had sold and a few grand over the reserve.The whole process was so easy, definitely recommend The Auction House.

An excellent experience with Dean at The Auction House

I have sold a number of my own houses in the past but never through the auction process. It was my brother's property which had become run-down and he was justifiably anxious about putting it up for auction. Dean, from The Auction House, was open, frank and realistic from the start and gave me great confidence throughout the process. The turn-around was efficient, prompt and the advertising to prospective buyers was impressive, attracting a number of interested parties. Although I was concerned about the reserve price being worryingly low, Dean was correct in his prediction as the property sold for more than half as much again. My brother was delighted with the outcome. I highly recommend Dean and his team and I would have no hesitation about using The Auction House again.
