GoogleKey Drummond made our dreams into a reality. Me and my wife were able to purchase our new home in about 2 months against all odds. Chris Rowley and Sam Davidson are very well versed into the real estate business. When there were inevitable problems, they were patient and worked through some tough situations without breaking a sweat. Their cool, calm mindset kept my anxiety low and gave me the confidence they would get the job done, and they did! Now me and my wife are first time home owners!

FacebookWe used Key Drummond to sell our house and cannot recommend them enough. It was difficult to choose an agent that we thought would do the best jobs for us and we were so glad that we chose Key Drummond. George was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and his down to earth, honest nature was a relief to us after dealing with other local agents when viewing properties to buy who were much less helpful.As a result of George and his teams efforts we sold our house within a week of it being on the market and for full asking price. We would highly recommend Key Drummond Oakdale and would definitely use them in the future if we ever move again. Thank you guys �

GoogleAVOID AT ALL COSTS! Our friends warned us to avoid this agent - we now wish we had listened… We had put an offer on a house in January 2021, with chain. We understood what this involved, but we and our kids had fallen in love with the property so we were willing to wait. We had seen our future in this house and were so excited to move in. We ended up waiting 10 months. 10 months only for Chris to one day call us out of the blue and say the vendors have now decided they cannot find another property and had chosen to increase the asking price of the house by £50,000 while we were still waiting for it. Without giving us a chance to process this information, Chris proceeded to tell us that he does not think we could afford to buy the house at this price. We were not given a chance to contest this and save our dream home. We were not even given a chance to decide for ourselves whether the house was affordable or not. Within hours, the house was back on the website, back on the market. We have had no communication since that phone call, not even a letter or email to this day. To make matters worse, just a few days prior we had asked Chris to update us on the house - he informed us that the house prices in the area had increased and that it’s a good idea to wait a bit longer. Based on this advice, we continued to wait for the house. Only for a rushed, demeaning phone call to tell us it was no longer affordable for us. Throughout the 10 month ordeal, we were put in a difficult situation where we couldn’t search for another house nor did we want to lose this house. The least he could have done was talk to us politely, let us down gently. Every few months we had to repeatedly press for more information about the situation of the house instead of him letting us know the updates. £1500 went down the drain in the process of pursuing this house - feels like daylight robbery especially in the context of the pandemic. We have never written a Google review before, but we could not in good conscience allow other people to be ill-informed and fall for the same trap we did.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Good or bad I’m always happy to receive feedback. I have taken the time to go back over all the phone calls and emails between us during the 10 months you were buying the property and feel that I need to put my side across. As you know the sale was agreed to you on 20th January 2021 and the seller needed to find. I constantly updated you whilst they were looking and updated you once they did find on 19th May 2020. On 4th October the sellers, sadly lost their forward purchase and after checking the market the sellers soon realised that prices had risen and they were priced out of the market. Their only option was to increase the price of their property. I then called you on 4th at 10:46 and followed this up with an email at 10:56 to update you. On this email I explained the reasons for the vendors decision and asked you to contact me with your thoughts. At 13:38 you called me and after listening the call it is clear that I was very apologetic to you and even commented that this was not the sort of call I wanted to be making. I explained that the sellers were asking for £50,000 more as prices in the area had risen by this figure. You explained that you could not afford this increase and that it was very unfair of the seller to do this. You then ended the call by hanging up on me. The property was then placed back on the open market for the sellers new asking price. Since then, I have not heard from you in any way. I certainly did not say you couldn’t afford the property as how would I know that and in fact, I gave you every opportunity to increase your offer in line with the sellers new asking price. The property also remained on the market until the end of October before being sold again for the sellers revised asking price giving you every opportunity to revise your offer. To summarise I know you were disappointed with the sellers decision however, as an Estate Agent we have to act on our clients instructions. As you know, my phone and emails are always on and you are welcome to come to the office to discuss this further if you wish. Despite the negative review, I hope you managed to find another property and you and your family managed to move.
