Awful experience of renting with this company. At the end of our tenancy the landlord tried to keep over half of the bond to repaint a few walls which hadn't been painted white. The house was left in exceptionally clean condition and better decorative repair than when we moved in. The bully boy tactics used by this company and namely Rachel in trying to get us to accept that they were in their rights were shocking. We were told that the Tenancy Deposit Scheme would certainly not decide in our favour and to accept we had lost some of our bond. However the TDS did indeed decide in our favour and stated that the bond is "not intended for redecorating purposes" .We are to receive every penny back. I would expect a "professional" company to know what was and wasn't included in the TDS , and common sense would suggest they did but tried it on .The constant texts and calls prior to the claim being submitted to the TDS and after being asked not to contact us but leave it to the appeal .amounted to nothing less than harassment. Time for someone to do a refresher course in Property management I think .

Denise, Lesley and the team were always on hand for all of our queries and always always kept us in the loop with our sale, even in particularly challenging circumstances. The marketing of our home was good, but other estate agents may have different takes on whether they do a video or have different quality pictures, but if you’re looking for a top customer service estate agent for your sale, JW have that in the bag - super helpful, always! Overall a very good estate agents to use for selling your home!

I was very impressed with how quick JW homes got a tenant in my property. It took 11 days for them to have someone move in which including coming out to my property taking pictures having them view it and then do the checks. I couldn’t fault them one bit and Howard was so helpful. I rang a few different estate agents but a few were to pushy and desperate which pushed me away. Have just rented my second property with JW Homes. We first came across them last year when I was looking to move from England to Wales, and from the first viewing we loved the house. We had the pleasure of meeting Howard who showed us the property, and he was our point of contact from then onwards. 1 year and a newborn later, we wanted to move area, and had some new requirements. Howard and Rachel in the lettings team again assisted us in doing so! We are now all moved into our new property, and have had nothing but incredible experiences with both Rachel and Howard on every step! Big shout out to the rental team Rachel and Howard! We have rented through JW homes for 7 years and these have always been amazing! We were given notice due to landlord selling, but these guys were amazing 👏 within 10 minutes of asking to recommend us if anything came up, Rachel called me back with details of new one that they knew would be perfect for us! It actually turned out better than we could ever of hoped for! They sorted everything, dates, handover and everything in between! Made a very stressful time much better! We didn't view property until we signed other than pictures we really put our trust in these guys to deliver! And they more than smashed it! We are so happy and couldn't recommend them enough! Attention Home Buyers and Vendours - why choose Agents who offer low selling fees. Believe me I know - Agents with that business model sounds appealing, but the reality is you as the vendour could potentially lose thousands off your sale price. Why, because that type of Agent's priority are themselves (quick sale) they're not interested in getting the best offer and not interested in you. (Theres nothing in it for them) They're, however interested in the buyer and what that buyer can do for them not you the vendor. Negotiators give all the sale patter intially and promise a 24/7 service. The truth is, that's the opposite. Rude, pushy and unprofessional is the only service you will receive. I was a victim of this business model and had to pull out of my purchase, because I could have potentially lost thousands on my sale. I immediately switched Agent to JW HOMES and in my opinion they're the best local agent. Denise and Lesley are professional and knowledgeable. Always at hand via email or telephone. They sold my house for considerably more than the previous low fee local Agent did within weeks of me switching to them. I also purchased my forever home through them below the asking price. Iv got bad neighbors, when iv phoned about them nothing was done to stop the problem, cert poor replies from the rental team. Ask them if their client as had problems with the neighbors before they move in they have to tell you by law. Update, i have now had to get the police involved after being assaulted by the person they have moved in. Be very careful if they rent out a home next to u, as they really don't care who moves in.
