Disappointed with Lack of Service, Avoid if PossibleI recently rented a property through John Shepherd Lettings @ £1300 p/m, and the experience has been frustrating from the start. There was no handover when I moved in, leaving me without essential information about the property. I contacted them on Monday to address this, particularly regarding the fact that I had no heating. They assured me that someone would get back to me, but five days later, I’m still waiting.Being left without heating in the middle of winter is unacceptable, and the lack of communication from the agency has made the situation even worse. I expected a professional service, but instead, I’ve had to chase them for basic support. If you’re considering renting through John Shepherd Lettings, think twice. Their poor service and lack of responsiveness have made this an incredibly stressful experience.

I had a really great experience with Megan since initial conversations and viewing being done with the time and date of my choice. She was very attentive and clearing all my doubts about tenancy with ease. Unfortunately due to some personal circumstances the tenancy couldn’t go through but she also took the initiative to return the holding deposit for me which was really helpful so a big thanks to Megan and her team for being supportive.

Ross Gregory and his team have been excellent, thorough and professional in managing my property in Nottingham. As a landlord with a rental property, he assisted me in arranging extensive decorating works. He arranged for quotes from local decorators and thereafter liaised with the decorator, ensuring work started on time. He joined me during visits and was well versed with progress. All in all, he made it a very stress free experience for me, as work progressed to my satisfaction. I could not have asked for more and highly recommend his team. JS and Ross continue to manage and let our property.

He answered all our questions, was always willing to reach out to landlords if he didn't know something, was able to get us a really good place so quickly and was all round just a pleasure to work with.
