Throughout the whole process whoever we spoke to, even if they weren't directly handling our sale, made us feel confident we were a priority and any questions were answered. Totally professional responses and clear guidance at all times, meant the process progressed rapidly & calmly. GoogleWe chose David James based on their website and the fact they were selling a lot of houses in our area. From start to finish, we cant fault the service we received. From initial valuation to final completion we were very impressed. The quality of our listing especially the video in the listing was thorough and comprehensive & the customer service we received was excellent throughout. We had a challenging sale but David James handled it with professionalism and efficiency. We would like to single out VIcky for praise who gave over and above throughout a very difficult sale. She was superb and without her we don't think we could have got our sale "over the line". A big thanks to all the David James team, we would heartily recommend them.

GoogleI had an excellent experience with the office team. Claire, who conducted the viewing, was highly professional and engaged with us throughout the entire visit, addressing all of our questions thoroughly. I particularly appreciated Claire's dedication, as she even accompanied me to the cellar despite her personal discomfort with spiders. Overall, the service provided by David James was exceptional, and I would highly recommend them.

TrustpilotIllegal hedgerow removal and verbal abuse
This company tried to illegally remove a hedgerow during breeding season and their employee Bekki Sparks was verbally abusive when lawyers and ecologists tried to tell her what the law was. It was incredibly unprofessional behaviour and I would not recommend dealing with a company that allows that.

GoogleNigel has always done a good job with his house inspection. He is very polite, always respects my privacy and apartment as he covers his shoes. Interested to know about your welfare and asks if there is any fault anywhere he could handle or escalate to the office. I love his manner of approach anytime he comes around as he is very professional.

GoogleIt was a delight to have Nigel around for inspection. He makes everything seem so simple as he moves around taking pictures of the house. He also keeps the carpet clean by always covering his shoes. So I will rate a 5 star any day:)

GoogleGo to Holden Copley if you want a local company who are professional & amazing service. David James are absolutely appalling communication & completely unprofessional. Failures & repeated move of goal posts & failure to disclose correct information leading to severe stress / anxiety & as a person with ms which they were aware of this fact. So when a completely rude obnoxious and completely unprofessional male called STEPHEN for many reasons including failure to introduce his role at the company to personally attack me with his comments, and proceed to casually tell me they aren’t willing to wait the week it usually takes for references to come back even though I had provisional move for the very next day and was advised of the fact only hours before it wasn’t a problem as it had only been worked on since Tuesday to be told this I was honestly lost for words at the completely inept service levels. I am currently seeking legal action as I believe they were aware I have additional rights being clinically disabled . I worked in the property market for national companies across the U.K. for a number of years so am more than aware of industry standards. AVOID

Rebecca You applied to rent a property with us and as is standard we need to carry out referencing procedures including verifying income and your employment. Our referencing agency were unable to verify your income and you provided a gmail email address as contact details for your employer reference. Neither of those things are acceptable which you will appreciate having worked in the property industry. We fully concede that this should have been resolved quicker with our referencing agency however they claim they were trying to resolve the issue. You paid a holding deposit of one week’s rent to allow referencing to take place and this is being fully refunded to you. We would never have proceeded with taking references for your application unless we had every intention of letting the property to you, therefore it is disappointing that you couldn’t satisfy referencing procedures. When Steven called with the news that we weren’t able to proceed, he didn’t make any comments that could be construed as attacking you and was professional in his response to your aggressive and adverse reaction. During that phone call you revealed to us that you have MS and that we are discriminating against you; a fact that Steven was not aware of and has absolutely no bearing on your rental application and your failure to satisfy referencing requirements. From your review, it appears that you may have found another property with HoldenCopley and we wish both you and them the best of luck in a tenancy!
