Barry was recommended to us, he has been fantastic in helping us to sale our house and find an appropriate home that suit our needs. Barry has been incredibly patient and understanding throughout the whole process. No phone call was ever too much trouble. At the earliest opportunity either Barry or Liam was always on hand to answer any queries or ease any concerns we had. Throughout the process and especially to ensure that contracts were exchanged in a timely manner, both Barry and Liam went above and beyond, without such intervention I do not believe we would have finalised our sale. Both Barry and Liam were instrumental in securing our new house, liaising with the respective estate agent to ensure the process was completed with all the checks. These were completed swiftly and to a high standard. Both Barry and Liam are professional, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. We would not hesitate to recommend the services of Butler Residential.

We just used Butler for our house sale and there aren’t enough positive words I could use to describe them! Barry & Liam were SO helpful to us throughout the whole process. They made everything go smoothly, took amazing photos, got us a great price for us and we had regular easy and clear communication throughout. Barry is an amazing estate agent ! No bullshit - no time wasting just gets the job done no matter how long it takes ! It took us over a year to move , but Barry was a constant always keeping us up to date and never giving up on selling our property! He became a friend in the end as his warm , friendly and genuine nature shone through. - a great source of advice too as we hadn’t moved for over 28 years ! He even helped us complete our solicitors documents!!! Liam was also a brilliant, calm , and genuine support during the process ! We decided to go with Butler Residential after first having a terrible experience with Purple Bricks. The service we received with Butler Residential is completely unmatched. The photos were stunning, showing our home in its best possible state. The viewings were conveniently grouped together, I took the kids out for the day and everything was taken care of. We were given feedback promptly, and were kept updated on any offers pending. The team did an excellent job of negotiating for us, and we sold within 1 week of listing at a price we were happy with. Knowing that we wanted the sale to go through quickly, Barry and Liam were constantly checking in with the solicitors to make sure things were moving along. The communication between everyone was excellent, we were always in the know as to what stage we were at. When we were approaching an exchange, Barry and Liam were great at pushing the solicitors to get things done. It was a very stressful last couple of weeks, but the team at Butler were empathetic and reassuring, and I had full confidence they were doing everything possible to push us over the finish line. Overall it was a fantastic experience with Butler Residential, and we are now so happy in our new home. My only regret is that we didn’t go with them first time around! I cannot thank the team enough!

For anyone who is feeling a little jaded about estate agents, look no further!  I would highly recommend Butler Residential as estate agents who actually have integrity and go that extra mile. My house had been on the market for a year and I'd gone through 6 estate agents who had 'over promised and undelivered' their capabilities. **The absolute best in the business ** We found Barry at Butler Residential when we called one of the properties he was selling for a viewing. The viewing went well and Barry was clearly very knowledgeable & professional. The house wasn't for us and Barry quickly understood that and didn't try to waste our time. Our house wasn't on the market at the time as we were unsure on which agent to use, we asked Barry to come over, along with another local, well known agent. I honestly thought all estate agents would be very similar and there wasn't much to selling a house anyway, surely Rightmove did all the work by getting the pictures in front of people right?!? ** That opinion changed VERY quickly! ** The other well known business sent a very young, inexperienced agent round, they spent about 90% of the time talking and not listening - it was just a interim job for them, still young, trying to figure out what the wanted to do in life, a lot like the majority of the agents working for the high street chains. Barry listened very carefully to what was important for us, he didn't use any gimmicks or sales strategies, he was honest, credible, friendly and very professional. A very long story short, Barry became more of a friend to us, he was always checking in to keep us updated with sales enquiries, viewing requests, feedback straight after a viewing and also guiding us with the best possible advice on the buyers offers, based on their situations and what was important to us (not necessarily the highest bidder, but a quick, short sale without a lengthy chain). Barry kept a steady string of viewings coming in, arranged them effortlessly with our availability and kept us updated at every step of the way. During the process of selling our house, we must have gone to view over 25+ other properties that were up for sale with other agents, this is where we knew Barry was worth his weight in gold! We were horrified at some of the unprofessionalism of some of the other agents, they'd either turn up late for our viewings, have absolutely no knowledge of the house they were showing us around in and just generally not listening to what we were saying. I remember coming back from one of the awful viewings and just calling Barry to tell him how much we appreciated him! Our house sale was not straight forward (like pretty much everyone's), it was no fault of Barry's, we had a couple of sales fall through due to a change in the potential buyers personal circumstances and where we lost faith and got frustrated, Barry never waivered! He was experienced, knowledgeable and worked tirelessly to find new buyers, he reassured us every step of the way. So, I take back everything I ever said about only needing Rightmove to sell a house! That probably equates to 1% of the work that actually goes into it! 99% of selling our house was Barry's commitment, dedication, professionalism and positive attitude. We can't thank you enough for everything you've done to help us and I'm going to miss having regular calls with you, you became a firm fixture in our lives and we will be forever grateful! Selling a house can be incredibly stressful and the estate agent business is one that is full of false promises and distrust. Barry and his team at Butler Residential break this pattern and our experiece with them was nothing short of perfect. Compared to other agents we have dealt with in the past, Barry understands your personal situation. Seeing the process top down and taking ownership of your full chain rather than just looking at the short term/quick sale, he is a trusted figure in turbulant waters. The photos of our house were excellent, to the point they shamed every other estate agency advert in the region - he included video tours and a virtual tour to give our property the maximum visibility and we had excellent results because of this. We listed our house on the Tuesday and had 15 viewings booked in by the Thursday. After 5 viewings we had 4 offers on the house and had agreed a sale within 48 hours of first listing the property. I am convinced that this was as a result of Barry's expertise in listing, marketing and managing the sales process with buyers. On top of the above, Barry managed to give us detailed feedback on the offers we had for the property which allowed us to make an informed decision on who we would like to sell the house to. With an excellent neighbourhood and neighbours that we are proud to call friends, we wanted to make sure that we not only sourced a buyer that suited our timescales and our needs, but one which would work with the local area and continue the positive community spirit that exists on our street. Thanks to Barry's feedback, we are really pleased with the couple that are buying our property and very thankful to Barry for giving is the insight required to make an informed decision on this. Barry Butler has renewed my faith in Estate Agents! Over the past 12 months we have met our fair share of estate agents and I think its fair to say some were good and some less so. Barry was by far the best we came across. He was never pushy yet we always felt we had his support throughout the process. Like any purchase involving a chain it wasn’t all plane sailing and when our chain fell through weeks before we were due to exchange Barry remained calm and was a reassuring presence. He guided us through some stressful periods using all his experience to make our new home a reality. I think the biggest complement I can pay Barry is that both ourselves and our seller felt that he was working in both out best interests. He was always on hand to answer our questions and helping us both find common ground when necessary. These guys are just genius! Received an offer within 1 week. We previously marketed our house for over 3 months with a standard high street estate agent 18 viewings zero offers.
