Fully supported all the way through by Alister at rook matthews sayer right from securing a mortgage in principle certificate through too making an accepted offer and completion, we felt supported with all the advice we required... such as mortgage rates/insurances/time frames and explaing the processes...We were well communicated in every acsepct of purchasing a property and securing a second mortgage on our current home. I would 100% recommend Alister as a mortgage advisor, he has helped us so much through what can be a really stressful time, we couldn't thank him enough for all his hard work!

If you're looking for a mortgage advisor, look no further than Neil Walton at the Gosforth Rook Matthews Sayers branch! He is absolutely fantastic in all areas of the job, from advice about anything and everything (which was perfect for me as a first time buyer!) to chasing solicitors. Neil is great at answering the phone and emails - you're never left waiting ages for responses. I've never not had a call returned or email responded to by him. On top of his exceptional service, he is the nicest guy you can ever meet and no task is too big or too small for him. I can't thank Neil enough for the service he has given me, I am very greatful and feel very lucky to have chosen such a great person to help me. Neil I am going to miss chatting to you, you've been great throughout the whole process and I can't thank you enough!

Me and my partner came to Mortgage Advisor Alistair Bowman to help us with our first mortgage as first time buyers. We didn’t have a clue what to expect but Alistair made the process so easy and stress free. He was always there to answer any questions and was so professional and friendly. One star as zero is not an option. Little effort shown in trying to sell my flat, which has been on the market for 14 weeks. One viewing 3 days after it went on the market. The team rarely keep in touch and don't always reply to emails. All in all, a very poor service.

Our move was challenging to say the least thanks to a number of hurdles and difficulties outside the control of Rook Matthews Blyth, but they were first class in making sure our move got over the finishing line. I threw my toys out of the pram a few times along the way and I received a very professional, reassuring and prompt response. I always had the feeling that the staff genuinely cared about delivering a great service and that this is more than just a 9-5 for them. The marketing of our house was great at the start, quick and easy and lots of viewings however hit a stale mate and we ended up needing a second estate agent to market the house. Once the offer was in, issues with information not being shared throughout the chain however on the final 4 weeks before exchange the girls, Victoria and Emma were incredible!! They were on the ball, they were proactive and they were very reassuring! They did absolutely everything they could in those last 4 weeks!!

It was a difficult and emotional time for our family, but the estate agent was professional, compassionate and supportive throughout the whole process. Used Rook Matthews Sayer for a re-mortgage as a returning customer. Rook Matthews were quick to contact us approximately 6 months ago to remind us that our existing mortgage was due to expire, a service we had not received previously from a different mortgage service which had resulted in us transferring to a standard interest rate and costing us more. The Track My Case option was handy to track progress. Alistair Bowman was our advisor a few years ago and recently. He has been so helpful, identifying the best time to search for a mortgage deal, providing regular updates and an alternative contact if he was unavailable and once a provisional deal was agreed, Alistair continued to check the market to ensure we had the most appropriate deal as interest rates continued to change. He has been honest in his advice, confirming that as we are close to paying off our mortgage, this would be the last time we would require a broker as the range of options in future years would be limited. I would have no hesitation in continuing to use Rooks Matthews and especially Alistair and would recommend them to anyone.
