GoogleLeah was our main contact throughout the purchase of our new home, and she was absolutely fantastic. We also dealt with James and the rest of the team, and everyone we spoke to was reliable, friendly and proactive. They kept us updated at every stage, were always easy to reach, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. By a mile, they’re the best estate agents we’ve ever dealt with and we’re genuinely grateful for all their help. I can't recommend them enough!

Having used a different agent for the sale of our property, we found the service offered by RMS Forest Hall to be miles apart for our purchase. We received very little communication from RMS regards our purchase and when we did, we found it to be inaccurate, outdated and unrealistic. We spent alot our of time having to chase various stakeholders to progress the purchase with little to no action from RMS. This eventually lead to the collapse of the purchase. We received no response to our communications in the lead up of pulling out of the purchase from RMS.
Dear Mark, We’re really sorry to hear how disappointed you were with your experience, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We fully understand how frustrating it is when a purchase does not progress as expected. In this case, the delay and eventual collapse of the transaction were due to requiring specific planning documentation relating to the wider development the property is situated on. Unfortunately, this information was outside of our control and sat with the developer of the estate. Despite efforts from all parties to explore alternatives, including indemnity options, the sale was unable to proceed without the exact documentation requested. We do acknowledge your comments regarding communication and are sorry if at any point you felt unsupported. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and your feedback has been shared internally. We regret that this purchase did not complete and wish you all the best moving forward. RMS

The sale was unfortunately delayed and made difficult by the solicitors but Claire remained calm and patient, and was the one to push the sale along for my late fathers property. Everyone at West Denton Rook Matthew Sayers were very supportive and nothing was a problem to them and I would not hesitate to recommend their team to anyone.

We couldn't thank Alistair Bowman and the whole RMS amble branch enough. With him, the whole journey was smooth sailing. Great guy. Easy to engage in conversation, with our uncountable questions, he answered them all and even explained further about everything from start to finish. Hi my name is Darren and I came across Alistair Bowman as recommended though a family member we used him as our mortgage broker though the whole process of buying our first house Alistair was so professional and made us feel comfortable from the offset and explained every stage of the process with us all way to after completion! Alistair Bowman is hands down the best mortgage advisor in the business. Having used Alistair Bowman as my mortgage advisor for the best part of a decade it is clear that I wouldn’t want to use anyone else. Nothing is a problem for him, always communicating throughout the whole process and his knowledge/experience means he is able to answer all questions and queries that I have. 3 remortgages and one full house purchase and not once has there been anything that he hasn’t been able to deal with in as little time as possible. Cannot recommend him enough.

Very disappointing service, overpromised and under-delivered. We had to chase; calls weren't returned and had to be chased. They told us differing things at different times, e.g. first, our buyers had their mortgage, then they came in the following week to discuss mortgages, then something different two weeks later. I have raised level of service several times but feel fobbed off and was told it's normal conveyancing.When we raised concerns we have been told "David Jones should have been more on hand to assist with this, however as David is out of the office most of the time it would be impossible for him to do this".

As you can see, we take great pride in the customer service we provide, which is reflected in our 4.8 rating here. We take all feedback seriously and because of this we have looked into this further so we could ensure we fully understood the situation before forming our response. From our database we can see that we sold this property within 2 days of it joining the market and there after see regular contact between yourself and our Sales Progressor in branch, who updated you on each stage of conveyancing when they had new information from your solicitor. Your buyers had a mortgage in principle, they then came in after to choose their product and again to choose a better rate. All of which our team informed you of when it happened. We are sorry you felt there was a lack of communication on our part, however we do our best to retrieve updates from both solicitors to inform each party of any changes in the conveyancing stage and we hope you can understand that some solicitors are easier to get a hold of than others.Kind Regards,RMS

I would say most people buying/selling homes find it very stressful, a very long process from start to finish.RMS Gosforth made a good impression on me from day one. I was welcomed into the branch to complete my registration forms. Eve made me feel at ease from the first day.I started getting viewings through for my property almost the next day, I dealt with Richard for my bookings who again was a pleasure to deal with.Once I accepted an offer I then got moved to Natalie who looked after me until completion today. Natalie is efficient and excellent in what she does trying to keep communication with all parties going, it is such a stressful time so having someone like Natalie keeping you informed ever step of the way is what everyone needs. (everyone needs a Natalie) !!!!I did speak to others in the Gosforth branch who again were super helpful sorry I can't remember everyone's names.If you are thinking of selling/buying then RMS Gosforth are the people to use.Thank you Natalie for getting my property over the line.

My partner and I are first time buyers and were recommended Alistair Bowman as our mortgage advisor by a close friend. Alistair exceeded our expectations. As first time buyers we did not know what to expect and Alistair talked us through every step of the process, ensuring we had all of the information required to make decisions whilst reducing our stress levels massively. It was not an easy process and we had to renegotiate our agreed sale price due to property valuation. Alistair liaised with the estate agents on our behalf as part of the renegotiation process and we do not feel we would have been able to secure our property without his knowledge and support. Alistair is extremely professional, knowledgeable and an all round lovely person. We would highly recommend his services and will continue to seek support from Alistair when remortgaging in the future.

I've used RMS previously for mortgage services, specifically working with Alistair, so when it came to my latest remortgage, I didn't hesitate to get back in touch. What I had originally hoped would be a mortgage for a house move unfortunately became a remortgage on my existing property. However, Alistair guided me through the entire process from start to finish, providing clear advice and helping me secure a product at the best possible rate. Alistair consistently goes above and beyond for his clients, particularly in challenging market conditions where lenders can withdraw mortgage products faster than applications can be submitted. His knowledge, responsiveness, and commitment made a potentially stressful situation much easier to navigate. I wouldn't hesitate to use RMS and Alistair again in the future, whether that's for my next remortgage or when the time comes to attempt a move again. Highly recommended.
