Rook Matthew’s Sayer in Gosforth couldn’t have done more for me during the sale of my parents bungalow, my parents are living in a care home and the process has been made so much easier by RMS and especially Natalie Best who went above and beyond to help me with all of the form filling and solicitors questions, I couldn’t have done this without her.

Great service, excellent communication and help

Alistair was so helpful with our mortgage process. As first time buyers there was a lot we were unfamiliar with and he explained it all, advised and gave guidance while empowering us to make our own choices. He was invaluable in advocating on our behalf in discussion with the estate agent and solicitors, and kept in regular contact with us to give and receive updates. Excellent care, support and guidance throughout the sale process. The team made a difficult situation easier when the house sale fell through quickly re marketing my property and achieving a higher sale price. Once we neared completion Leah was proactive in chasing up the buyers solicitor to complete in the desired week. I would highly recommend RMS Hexham. A great big thanks to Leah and James at RMS Hexham who went above and beyond with patience and professionalism to make purchasing my little cottage a smooth process. Solicitors were another story, but at every stage RMS were available to advise and assist as appropriate to facilitate the process even when everyone else involved was getting frustrated with waiting for solicitor reports, the staff at RMS were on hand with incredible customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy or sell with them and wasn’t surprised when I went to their office and saw the awards on their window display. Well deserved!

I have never used a mortgage advisor before and was understandably spectacle. Never the less I signed up with Alistair Bowman for the service and it’s the best thing that I have ever done concerning mortgages. His professionalism is second to none always going the extra mile in terms of the best mortgage available. He even significantly reduced my purchase price! In regular contact keeping the client updated with latest developments and is always willing to help in whatever capacity is needed right up to exchange and completion. Overall making a very stressful process less so.

Service miles apart from other agents

Having used a different agent for the sale of our property, we found the service offered by RMS Forest Hall to be miles apart for our purchase. We received very little communication from RMS regards our purchase and when we did, we found it to be inaccurate, outdated and unrealistic. We spent alot our of time having to chase various stakeholders to progress the purchase with little to no action from RMS. This eventually lead to the collapse of the purchase. We received no response to our communications in the lead up of pulling out of the purchase from RMS.
