GoogleViewed property Fri 12 the told agent(maddalene)we were interested we arare in best position possible (,cash buyers)!!she said she would ring us Monday to catch up we actually sent email on Saturday for 2nd viewing which she didn't even bother to look at!!,then Monday today we saw sstc, on RM when I rang she stuttered &made some story up about the people after us viewing made an offer there &then!!! Mmm really🤔 I think not,as she couldn't deal with me because she knew I'd caught her out she passed me to her sidekick micha who was insistent the vendor's accepted the offer on the spot & how they work so hard for the vendor Mmm very doubtful as if she was working that hard she would have surely advised of 2parties interested which obviously wasn't done, these agents are very bad for the induindustry &it's the likes of these that give all agents a bad reputation you should be ashamed of yourselves!!!perfect positionNegativeProfessionalism

GoogleI tried to call these guys so many times, but I had to drive to the branch and stand outside on the phone in order for them to even pick up. We loved one of their properties and had our hearts set on it, and we told the estate agent that we wanted to apply and place a deposit asap. When we didn’t hear back very quickly, we were told that the landlord wasn’t replying to any of their messages, only to find out a day later that the property had been ‘Let agreed’! They should have called us as soon as they knew that the landlord was replying and not kept us in the dark. We very almost declined another property in favour of this one, gladly we didn’t! Awful.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleRecently moved into a rental property for let by Taylors. Have been incredibly patient, flexible and understanding with the limited free time that we are getting at the moment with regards to sorting out the move. Lucy especially has been fantastic and kept regular contact with us from about a month before we moved in all the way until now. They also have not hesitated to solve any problems we've had whatsoever. They've made a very stressful part of life, even more so during a pandemic, feel incredibly simple and stress free. We couldn't recommend them more!PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism, Value

TrustpilotIf I could give 0 I would
If I could give 0 I would, from the start it was bad, booked a valuation in for the Thursday, on the Tuesday got an email to say my valuation slot had been cancelled so rang the number on the email to rebook, got through to one branch to be told that branch doesn't deal with my area and they gave me the branch that does, so tried ringing them after numerous attempts and unable to get through I emailed back to that email address to say the issues I was having. Someone finally rang me back, the girl on the phone explained it was a head office mess up to why I had been booked in with the wrong valuation person, ironically the girl said she felt like she had spoke to me before (this is where the irony sets in, it wasn't head office that booked my original valuation in, it was in fact her! So first lie from william h brown), so booked in with their valuation guy to come on the Saturday.Anyways Saturday comes, he's all prepared with information on my house and the area etc... however, much of the information he provided was either known lies or half truths, he asked what other estate agents had valued the property at and then added 5k to their valuations. At the end of everything he said so shall we sign you up then, when I said ill have to think about it, he then turned to my partner (baring in mind this was already made clear the house was mine) and asked what he thought (did not like this, felt like undermining was apparent in his approach). He then said about booking us in for the Tuesday after to get us signed up.After he left, upon a little thinking decided to go with another estate agent so rang up william h brown and cancelled the Tuesday appointment, gave the reasons why and thought that would be the end of it, but no 10 minutes late the valuator rings up to find out for himself why I had decided to go somewhere else so after that phone call thought that would be it, how wrong could I be, over a week and a half later now just had my 5th call from william h brown and when I said in this last call about sick to the back teeth of them ringing me and it always being off different numbers she said they don't all share the same system so doesn't know who's called and when, I do not believe this, I believe the harassing people into signing is their technique. So word of advice, do not even get a valuation from this company..... avoid like the plague!!!

TrustpilotAwful overall..
Awful overall... super friendly service to start with and had it tenanted quickly but that's where the good stuff ends and the nightmare begins... the tenants were not "ideal tenants" as they had said, of course they did not let you have much information about who they are prior to agreeing to take them on. You have no choice in who you take on essentially. Wouldn't be surprised if they promised the tenants something you had not agreed to and blamed the landlord for not delivering.Oh, in addition they have expensive hidden fees so if you think you are getting a good deal you are not. They as any others hide behind their well drafted terms of business, of course they lure you in on other terms but this is just verbally mentioned to you.Good agents are hard to find unfortunately.

TrustpilotWaste of time
Waste of time they get you on their books , no contact or communication how things are going you have to do it all . Certainly not professional to busy focusing on getting houses to sell on books . But not pushing sales with the ones they have . I wish I had read all other people s experience s and not entertained the Skegness branch .6 months of wasted time I know times are hard , I think their passion , sales techniques were less than impressive the manager needs to go on a true sales course to get her mo Jo back as every time I went in 1 girl working who as I was told not trained so why leave her ? I’m so relieved iTook my business else where , my advice give them a miss

GoogleIf I could give less than 1 star I would. I would never rent from this or any other associated companies ever again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
The experience I had from the time my tenancy ended until I had my deposit partially returned was nothing short of farcical. Their lack of communication and unwillingness to help or address any of my concerns made the process of moving significantly more stressful than it needed to be. They were far more interested in money, they have no desire to provide a decent service for their tenants.
I ended up losing a portion of my deposit for which was completely unnecessary cleaning purely due to the fact that I was given the run around from the day I moved out. Had I not reluctantly agreed this saga would still be ongoing and I wouldn't have had any of my money returned. They repeatedly lied about the reason for a sudden increase in this pricing, refused point blank to provide an invoice, refused to listen to any concerns I had and effectively refused to discuss anything until I threatened to seek legal advice. Only then did I receive a phone call. This person was unable give any reason or address any of my concerns, and could not tell me why I was unable to have any sort of invoice. They also lied that the landlord had contacted me when he had not. Even after agreeing to pay these (illegal) cleaning fees just so I could be done with the whole situation it still took a further email and telephone call to have my money returned.
Absolute joke of an agency. Avoid at all costs. If you do happen to rent with them take photographs of everything because they will use any excuse under the sun to keep your money.

TrustpilotThe best estate agent in town!!
We cannot praise and thank Ben and his team enough for the true support and caring attentive service. We had a extremely stressful time during the sale of our house due to short comings by some of the solicitors in the chain. Ben was on hand to guide us and give us a truly wonderful end result!! We would recommend Ben and his team to any prospective sellers or buyers!Paul and Susan Stenhouse

TrustpilotAvoid: King’s Lynn and Downham Market…
Re King’s Lynn and Downham Market branches. Hassled us relentlessly when we withdrew a sale (after a death in the family which changed the circumstances). They were aggressive and without any compassion. We tried again a few years later to sell via them and they were aggressive, under valued the property ‘for a quick sale’ without full consent, were slapdash with paperwork, put the house up before we had consented, again. When we decided to go with another agent due to repeated unprofessional customer service they relentlessly hassled again, multiple calls and emails demanding explanation when we didn’t need to provide any. Lastly, when using their renting services this year, they have not paid back our holding deposit on a flat we were unsuccessful in getting, despite saying they would and has gone on for months when they should repay after 14 days! Property Ombudsman case right there. Avoid at all cost. Absolutely diabolical behaviour and the other TP ratings back this up too.

TrustpilotPlease avoid for your own sanity
Bridge St, Northampton - Whilst all staff were pleasant, I believe there is something fundamentally wrong with their sales processRather than a rant, i would like to provide data for my rating. . Property listed - 16 Feb. 36 Viewings, two prices reductions later, four offers, which after due diligence all withdrew off their own accord. I have now removed them as agents and would share a warning to all other potential 'victims' that despite not being able to sell houses, they are very quick to tie you up in legal contracts to make it very difficult to move on. As the market is slow moving, they are desperately hanging in will be strongly 'encouraging' anyone that enters their funnel to use all linked services. Which can be off putting if you have your own providers.

TrustpilotGood costumer service
Throughout my experience with Aaron, Thetford branch, I received very good support and he was extremely patient with me. A kind individual and when he didn't know the information that I was asking for, he sought advice from his colleagues. The only negative comment is not directed to Aaron, but to his female colleague who seems to dislike him. When interacting with costumers she should put whatever feelings she may have towards others to herself. Body language sometimes speaks more than a thousand words.

TrustpilotAmazing team at Raunds
We have recently sold through the Raunds branch, who have been absolutely brilliant! The girls there are professional, caring and are really nice people too. When it looked like our chain was going to collapse and things got tense, they took control and got the house sold. Highly recommend the Raunds branch. Tracey and her team are amazing :)

TrustpilotAbsolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking the way they treat customers. The initial meeting was good, but the minute you sign on the dotted line for them to sell your property, it all goes downhill from there.Three times I had to tell them I didn't want accompanied viewings (I worked in new homes for 14 years, so I think I know how to sell a house!) and someone would "be on their way"!!!!I felt that the staff were patronising, and couldn't really be bothered. In the end I changed agents to get a better service (of which I did) but in the end one of the original viewers made an offer, so we were reverted back to WHB.The sales chasing was hit and miss, even our solicitor said he didn't know who was representing us for the first few weeks!!The straw that broke the camels back was the email I received a week before we completed from Amanda, to say that they had referred us to the debt collection part of WHB and they wanted us to pay ASAP! I rang and asked the member of staff to get Amanda to ring me as we had not yet completed on the sale!!!!No one ever called, not to apologise for their mistake, but also to tell us we had completed!Discusting way to treat customers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

TrustpilotCross Gate ……. Clowns
Selling a house through cross gates Leeds. I can only say do not use these clowns. Sent me a contract note out with wrong solicitors. Emailed back twice to two different people in office Beth, Daniel then 3 weeks later received a call asking why solicitors have done nothing. The simple answer is they have not updated the documents to confirm my solicitor, so now we have lost three weeks due to their incompetence. Stay clear.

Very poor service from the Scunthorpe branch, I was convinced to sell (or attempt to) my property through the modern auction process, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, the communication and feedback from the auction team and the Scunthorpe WHB team was diabolical, after 4 months I gave up with them, even then they did not acknowledge my email or offer any form of apology for the poor service.

TrustpilotNo customer service.
I made an enquiry by email on a property in Norfolk over the weekend. I had two calls that terminated when I answered. The third time, I had a young lady who sounded as though she was in a call centre. She knew nothing about the property, failed to answer any of the written questions provided in advance of my call by email, put me on hold when I asked to be transferred to an estate agent, and then terminated the call. I doubt they’ll ever sell this property if this is the height of the service provided.
