Very poor.

Very poor. Cancelled an appointment twice due to head office not communicating with branch. Branch rescheduled appointment and then canceled on the day saying the agent was ill. This same agent was cancelled earlier this year due to hospitalization of a child. There is no spare capacity in the Doncaster branch. Whilst I sympathise with the the agents plight, it is the branch and the manager at fault. A very busy scheduled day had to be changed.

I was the winning bidder for the…

I was the winning bidder for the property and, following the auction which ibs iamsold I was taking steps to arrange the required mortgage documentation and obtain my Agreement in Principle (AIP). There was initially some delay because I later became aware that the relevant person was away on holiday. Importantly, the auctioneer instructed me by telephone to wait until I had obtained my AIP before paying the Reservation Fee. I relied on this instruction and understood that I was following the process as advised by the auctioneer. At no point was I informed that my winning bid had been cancelled and was sold .I only became aware of this when I followed up with the agent yesterday and was told that the property had already been offered to the second bidder. I am therefore concerned that the property was offered to another bidder without giving me any prior notice or opportunity to proceed, particularly when I had been following the auctioneer’s specific instruction regarding the Reservation Fee. I acted in good faith throughout the process and relied on the information and instructions provided to me by the auctioneer. I did not withdraw my bid or indicate that I was unwilling or unable to proceed. I feel really frustrated about this , no proper communication.

There is one in Wakefield which I have…

There is one in Wakefield which I have recently experienced and quite frankly it’s the worst I’ve experienced. They are fine with you calling them but when you email them, they don’t respond and this makes a mockery of the customer which is extremely disappointing. Sometimes I just want to call them and tell it how it is or walk in the branch physically, only problem it’s busy times during the week and weekends….need to step up and improve honestly…..the complaints protocol is woeful and abysmal to say the least. Put this through twice and no joy unfortunately. Terrible….

Well went to view a property. Put an offer in and they said they went having a think about.. vendor )to find out another viewing the next day. Bad experience. Told me they would phone me in the morning had to chase all too much effort. Wisbech branch Buying and selling it’s hard enough without having poor estate agents saying one thing. Then doing another.

When I wanted to sell a home I had rented in Northampton a Henry Slade from Taylor’s was there…with some good advice….and with support from their auction arm (IAM SOLD) it was sold within just 12 weeks. The whole process was hassle free….i never had to visit the property again…..they were great. If you need to sell a property on the quick, and as seen, I recommend you approach Henry Slade and his team at Taylor’s in Northampton.

Awful estate agent. We were in contact with them almost 2 years ago to have our property valued. We since decided not to list or let, which I have told them multiple times but I’m still being hounded with calls 18 MONTHS LATER!! I’ve requested on numerous occasions that they stop calling me and have actually blocked them, but that doesn’t stop them from being able to leave answer phone messages which they still do weekly! Terrible sales practise. They are awful pests that will harass you until the end of time. Avoid!

Norwich branch- overall the staff have been great especially Ethan, however they have a lot of ‘hidden’ fees and also charge ridiculously high for simple things such as an increase in rent they charged me £300 other companies I have used do not do this, I don’t rate the company at all, there’s a lot of other options available I would suggest shopping around

My experience was not so great from start as it was really difficult to communicate with them via phone call. However, recently, I’ve had better experience with Helen and Linda. They have responded promptly to questions and issues I have as a current tenant and have been very helpful as well. ***********************UPDATE************************ When moving out, they made unreasonable claims just to not return my deposits. The house was neither cleaned nor in the best condition when we moved in but they wanted to charge us money to fix issues that were pre-existing before moving. They quoted £1246.20. After involving the Zero Deposit adjucticator, I only ended up paying £80 (£30 for broken letterbox and £50 for they claimed was the espense spent for disposing the rubbish which I definitely did but didn't have the evidence to prove so I had to pay). It was an awful experience going back and forth with this. Glad we had all evidence (especially the inventory) to counter their ridiculous claims!

I have just re registered with them…

I have just re registered with them (2nd time) on the back of a complaint due to lack of communication re properties which I had to give them information for type of property required and budget (felt exhausting). Why did this company remove me from their mailing list after 3 years without my consent, it’s unacceptable. There needs to be a more fair and respectful process and they just left me hanging. Also discovered they’re a franchise company so that explains why they treat the public like trash…..need to improve their service for sure…..
