Absolute disgrace

In this company the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I am investor and this is a second time this happened to me with them. Tried to arrange the viewing immediately the property came to the market(Beginning of the week). I was completely flexible with dates and time. One of the "great agents"(lady) promised me to come back with the date once they check. But of course she didn't. I had to call day after to arrange the viewing. The earliest which they could do Friday(confirmed). On Thursday lady called me to a to arrange the viewing, of course she hadn't clue that I have a viewing next(which supposed to be in their system, if they have one) day. Bottom line they have cancel the viewing hour before my visit when I was already driving to the customer. I called to their office wanted to talk to their manager to explain this is not how it suppose to work. The manager said she will call me in a minute. Well this was an hour ago and the way they operate I don't think I even will get a call. Honestly just stay away from them. Absolutely useless, I don't even undestand why people choosing this company to represent their property..

-1000 Stars They will do anything to sell you a property even withholding very important information from you. The branch manager told me to shot up and didnt allow me to talk on a phone conversation. This is after i started talking politely and wanting to fully explain a very wrong situation. He said there wasnt need for me to talk and shouted STOP TALKING. At the end i let him talk and he did not answe accordingly to what i was saying because he refused to listen to me. I would never trust any one in that branch, no one at all expexially the branch manager, hopefully he wouldn't be for long.

I have found Taylors to be helpful, patience, flexible about attending appointments and managing the whole process of finding a tenant, and reassuring me about how little I have to do as a landlady! They have worked well with the Sales team to give me time to make a clear decision about whether to sell or let my house, and have offered clear advice about this, which tells me I have made the right decision. They have local contacts and taken on most of the hard work in preparing my house for letting, which is such a valuable service.

Sheffield Branch -Worst ever estate agent AVOIDAn agent came for valuation. She came in with muddy, dirty shoes without permission. She walked all over, including over my expensive silk carpet. The way she was talking was very unprofessional and rude. Not answering questions properly interrupted me. She did not apologize. When I phoned the office to report her, the person on the line hung up. DISGUSTING poor service.

Truly awful

I feel for anyone attempting to sell a house with WHB. This is based on my experience of trying to buy a house marketed by them. They don’t return enquiries about properties. They refuse to let you put in offers saying the offer is not high enough. When you withdraw offers because they say it’s not high enough, they then phone asking why you’ve withdrawn the offer. Then call you a liar when you give a reason. They do get in touch to pressure you into taking a mortgage through them stating that if you use them as broker, it will put you in a better light with vendors thus increasing your chance of being successful in purchasing the property. I feel this is unethical at best, not even sure if this practice is legal. Awful, rude and arrogant people. My heart goes out to all those who have property listed with this bunch of unprofessional operators. I will no longer enquire about any properties for sale with WHB on the basis that I don’t like being spoken to like an idiot merely for trying to purchase a property.

LYING RIP OFF COWBOYS

Do not go anywhere near this company. They give you an indication of respectable fees to get your business and then sneak in extras, add ons and anything else they can dream up. As it's deducted at source you can't get it back even though they will promise to on a daily basis. If you want lying to, robbing and generally treating badly this is the place to go they should not be allowed to be in business of any sort at all

Warning - Terrible Experience with WHBrown Letting Agent

I am writing this review to share my utterly disappointing experience with WHBrown Letting Agent. My encounter with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn others to avoid this agency at all costs.To start, the level of incompetence displayed by WHBrown is astounding. Their complete disregard for the well-being of their tenants is shocking. My attempts to address maintenance issues were met with negligence, as my complaints about moulded bathrooms, paint falling off walls, and faulty electrical work were conveniently ignored.Moreover, the racial insensitivity exhibited by WHBrown is deeply troubling. The lack of respect and condescending behavior from their staff members is not only unprofessional but also unacceptable. It is disheartening to experience such blatant disregard for human decency, making it clear that they prioritize profit over people.The final straw was when they left me and my children in a cold, uninhabitable house for a week. Despite consistently paying rent with no arrears, we have been treated with disrespect and utter disregard for our well-being.I implore anyone considering WHBrown Letting Agent for their property needs to steer clear. The level of service provided is abysmal, and their practices are not only unprofessional but also border on neglectful. My experience has been a stark reminder that tenants deserve better treatment and respect.Avoid WHBrown Letting Agent like the plague, and spare yourself the stress and anguish of dealing with such an unscrupulous agency.I have encountered them on two occasions at two different location and they are absolutely rubbish.

Avoid at all costs, don't do what they say they are going to do, complete waste of time, told people viewing no need to remove shoes before entering my house even when they asked if they have too "just rude" didn't get the right type of people viewing one couple didn't even want this area they wanted about 5 miles away! Promised an open day that never happened. Now getting threatening letters about payment for an EPC they had already been given card details for payment, phoned 3 times no response just more threatening letters in the post, absolute shambles!

DO NOT SELL YOUR HOUSE WITH WHBrown

We had our house on the market with WHB Colchester branch in October and November last year. During this time we had no help, phone calls updates or honest and constructive advice on what to do with our property to help sell it. We gave the two week notice to end our contract, which my husband done over the phone and spoke with a nice lady, no questions asked, she sent a confirmation email to him with the end date. A few weeks later I phoned the office to ask if they could confirm the official date of which our house will be removed from their listings, as I didn’t have the email to hand. I needed to know this information, as I wanted to make plans with our new agents. The store manager I spoke with I found was rude, pushy, and spoke at me without me being able to get a word in. Asking why we were taking our house off the market with them? He told me incorrect information regarding our contract and was adamant that we were in contract with them for a further 28 days to what I had thought.He told me that I had signed the contract, and that he had it there in front of him. ( which he was lying about) He gave me advice on the value of my property after 8 weeks of no advice or contact. The conversation lasted 18minutes. I ended the call. I then went on to find the information I needed and as I thought there was no 28day cooling off period, we had not signed this contract he was so adamant I had. He was extremely unprofessional, untrustworthy and rude and we would never recommend selling your home with this agency. I wish I had read trust pilot reviews before we had put our house on the market with them, as it seems a lot of people have experienced a similar service and treatment.

Avoid at all cost!

It took us over a week to get a viewing of a house that we planned to buy. On the day of the viewing we had agreed to meet the agent outside the property. It was obvious it was a house of multiple occupation because when the agent failed to turn up we knocked on the front door. The estate agent had not told us the house was occupied and had no good reason for not showing up to show us round. I would advise to avoid these people if possible.

Don’t bother

Don’t bother, looked at a house that turned out to be rubbish anyway and they won’t leave you alone after getting details to see if they can sell you something or sell your property even if your not interested. They will call every week to annoy the hell out of you. Even kept calling when I was arranging my dad’s funeral!

I recently had the misfortune of attempting to buy a property through the Crystal Peaks branch in Sheffield. The property was a shared ownership which wasn’t mentioned in the listing and I wasn’t informed of at the time and is now back up for sale and the advert STILL does not show this information which is misleading to buyers. Lois who I dealt with, apparently has more knowledge than a solicitor with 18 years experience of the various legal processes involved in buying a property so really should consider a career change. Instead of actually phoning the solicitor for updates she was far too busy ringing me to tell me my solicitor was useless and was doing everything wrong. I’d presume she was also having a lovely time forcing her dangerously wrong and slanderous opinions on the sellers of the property seeing as they stated unless we changed solicitor despite being mere days from completion they’d pull out of the sale which has now happened.Having emailed Lois a few weeks ago asking her not to contact me anymore after she’d again rang and told me my solicitor was useless and threatened that the sellers would pull out of the sale unless I told my solicitor that she wasn’t doing her job properly she continued to contact me, even using her personal mobile after I’d blocked the office number on my phone. I can honestly say the relief I feel that the sale has fallen through far outweighs the disappointment due to being constantly patronised, spoken to like I’m an idiot and being told my solicitor is useless at her job. The last few months have been hell having to attempt to deal with this woman who is at best unprofessional, rude, condescending and completely wrong in her opinions of the legal process and at worst completely and utterly incompetent.

I feel that I have to write a review. I was asked to provide proof of ownership from the Land Registry before they put us on the market? I’ve never experienced having to do this with any other Estate Agent before? Felt it intrusive and unnecessary, and too personal? Is this ethical? Is it permitted? I thought this level of enquiry was up to the conveyancing solicitor, only on agreement of offer from prospective buyer. During the time with this company, not one person turned up. We did have several appointments just no shows. I know it can be a challenge when viewers may book but not follow through but we gave up with these agents.

Bought a flat in Doncaster to live in from a marriage break up these in Doncaster started managing the rent from the flat owner above me. Promised me they would get good renters told me if I need to complain get in touch ASAP. Well I've been in touch as the renters are a foreign couple banging while 4am.what was their reply.. As expected we can't do anything get the council in. Yet again superceded by the influx of foreigners into this country. Live and work all my life now this. Tell you anything to shut you up. All we’ve had is different excuses, we can’t get hold of landlord, we’ve lost details etc. But no one makes contact with you unless you chase it? Angry is an understatement!

If I could I wouldn't even give them any stars, I am a tennant from spalding branch and we have had problems after problems and takes ages for it to be "sorted" they send cowboy builders out that can't even do the job properly and the guy still hasn't gave us our money back, me my partner and our 3 year old son are currently sleeping in the living room as we can't even sleep in our own bedroom because of mould and damp, this started around the same time as last year. It is so cold we are using more heating then we should be, they say we are always waiting for the contractors to get back to them which can take weeks/months with no updat or no communication.

This company is absolutely hopeless. Unprofessional is an understatement. Chasing them for well over 3weeks to get back my tenancy deposit back and no one seem to be able to tell me when I can get my money back. I wish there was something less than one star.
