Shocking , they do not tell the truth then when we wanted to leave bullied us to threatening court action if we left , 5 people looked at our house 4 did not even have their houses on the market , would not release us from contract and then kept telling us to reduce the price after they valued it 40 odd thousand more , 4 months of hell and making the whole experience stressful and wasting our time !!!!! I have sold many houses and never had such an awful agents bar one staff member who was genuinely nice to us but still was not honest .

Huddersfield Branch - They are Amazing!I have dealt with this branch on numerous occasions and can honestly say the team are fantastic and can't do enough for you. Shona Mellor is incredible, keeping me in the loop throughout the whole transaction! I cannot recommend them enough!

Think they’re above you, snobby, rude, arrogant. Never had worse dealings with a company in my life. Had numerous valuations, these came in most expensive. Girl from the office called me to see if I wanted to view a property, that I know has been on the market for months as it’s a friend of mine, she told me it had just gone up last week so another lie. Do not use this company, far better and more friendly local estate agents who are more personable than a big company who think you’re beneath them

Harlow branch managed to convince a buyer with a solicitor and mortgage to change to their preferred provider to gain commission but at the delay to my house sale. They didn’t return a single phone call in 5 months ! Took 7 months to complete a no chain sale ! And I had to conclude the sale myself and now they have issued court papers to an address they know I don’t live at and threatened me with a ccj ! I would not recommend them at all.

Thorne, Doncaster Branch:Fair weather estate agents. Cant do enough for you when you’re moving forward with them under their lifetime mortgage schemes. Unfortunately had to pull out a sale due to the interest rate hikes making the property unaffordable and suddenly they dont want to know. Failed to refund contractually owed amounts. Failed to communicate this dissatisfaction with the vendor leaving contractually owed refunds unpaid for 6 months and still ongoing. Legal Advice being sought to resolve a perfectly simple contract issue. Very poor.

I took into consideration that they are a legit company, duely registered, and ignored the reviews. If only I had taken the reviews seriously, I would have saved my time and the money I spend with travelling to see the property they showed. They really don't bother with communication. Hopeless. Not a signal of a follow up even though they took a copy of my ID and I signed an EOI. Now if I see they are the ones advertising I just pass.

This company is all sorts of wrong. Not only do they tell you phone calls recorded they later confirm they are not when you get to head office complaint stage. Clever sods lied to me clear as day on phone and never put any of what they told me in emails.. I'm now being accused by them of being the liar, which I now can't prove apart from half statements in email which are inconclusive at best.... I would avoid this company again, I do not recommend anyone use this useless, dishonest company. It is now looking like a small claims court case if the TPO can't get me the money they owe me. Not a huge amount £500 but when you paid them £2500 for services its a sizeable amount.

My partner has recently moved out from zero deposit property, which was cleaned few times, we have moved out three weeks ago, they have done their inspection stating that a property is not clean and wants to go through TDS to charge us 400£ for it to be cleaned. Things like dust and limescale around the toilets they are the worst avoid at all costs.

I called the agent today morning about the property enquiry., I checked the property consists of electric stove or gas stove? He said electric and I said unfortunately not interested with electric. As soon as agent came to know about my disinterest he disconnects the call in between the call. So rude, very very rude agent in lettings team. So, I would just thought of share my experience in google reviews & trust pilot.

When we purchased our home the local branch were pro active, quick to respond couldn't fault them. So 16 months later with Covid restrictions eased meant we could look in the areas we really wanted to be , so we put it back in their hands. New Branch manager and team were Usless, took two weeks to get our property details done in such a way that wasn't the generic information they were attaching to properties. We visited the office several times over the first month only to find our property wasn't in the window. They promised it would be done and we walked passed daily and it wasn't. When approached by this it was done Infront of us with just a sorry. 8 of the twelve viewings they arranged were cancelled, two viewings weren't even what the potential buyer was looking for. Calls wouldn't be returned, notes weren't attached to their file for our property. Would not recommend them even if they were doing it for free I would recommend you use someone else.

The rental branch is an absolute joke. They say they will come round. Yaxley branch. Sent round chap for selling purposes. We asked for rental team to come round. They arranged two visits. Which they did kot pitch up for.Last one being the manager seemingly...They can't mange anything....not even an explanation. Absolute joke.Give this company a wide wide birth.....

The lettings team including the area manager at the Wisbech store are beyond rude and unprofessional. I have never come across such unreasonable behaviour in all my life. Unable to communicate the issue with me, I had to chase them all week regarding the issue to which I gave my mobile number to everyone who picked up the phone, interesting how the sales team speak very nice to you and can’t do enough but then transfer your call through to the rude lettings lady after telling me I’d be speaking to the branch manager! I told the area manager I would never be buying, renting, selling or recommending their branch to anyone who mentions WHBrown to me and I was just consistently told ‘that is your opinion’ and even backed up the lettings woman even though I was told directly and point blank that the person dealing with my issue was not obligated to give hourly updates, thus providing me with hourly updates, even though I’d called at 9am then again at 3:30pm to see if the issue was sorted!!! Just leaving this review to help others gain a better understanding of the sort of treatment they give you. For me it’s simple, if you hate your job then leave, plenty of people out there who would love to have one of their jobs who know what customer service is suppose to look like!

Incompetence. Calling us up constantly regarding a rental agreement for a property that we SOLD through the same branch, FOUR YEARS AGO. This was a straight house sale, with no mention of rent, house owner to house owner. This is inspite of being told we don't own the property anymore and to take us off their database! Wouldn't have bothered leaving a bad review, but they've just woken me up after a night shift, which they wouldn't have done if they'd done their job right the first time!!!!

From the moment we made contact with the Fletton Office, Martin and then Tracey, along with all the staff in the office were professional, considerate and efficient. They went above and beyond to make our selling experience, not only possible, but a lot less stressful than it could have been. We really couldn't have asked for more from our Agents (and we have some very bad experiences with local agents to compare them with) I would highly recommend them and would certainly use them again.

Gorleston branch are awful 😖 never call to give feed back, miss sell properly!! Had my house up for sale as End Terraced when we are semi-detached!! Broke GDPR had my door number visible without consent. Management no help at all when we asked to come out of contract because of what they had done.

Put an offer on a house that was advertised "chain free" in with Kelsey at WHB in Pontefract in July. The property was tennented, but i was assured on multiple occassions that the tennant had been served a formal eviction notice months prior. I repeatedly asked for proof of this but this was not forthcoming but I was assured over the phone the tennant would definately be out by the start of October.Come the start of October WHB informed me that the tennant was refusing to move out, had been advised by the council to stay put until a house could be found and that a formal eviction notice would not be served until the end of October.WHB wasted 3 months of my time, half of the duration of the mortgage offer. This means now I will have to pay a higher rate or may even be rejected.They do not care if your offer expire, they dont care about wasting your time or misleading you. Equally its wasted money spent on conveyancing. They had the cheek to send me, the buyer, an email requesting an "admin fee". They dont care about this. Theyve wasted the vendors time also and they havent got the sale. Just incompetent, dishonest people ticking a box that the house is sold but not actually doing the function they were employed for.

I wouldn't definitely recommend them if your a landlord. I thankfully only used them for tenant find and not lettings!!! They have so many new staff all the time, no suprises, each of them never have any idea what's going on. They ask for duplicate documents to be sent over from tenants and owners. They come across very unprofessional and it'd actually embarrassing how they are running their lettings business for a franchise company. They promised a move in date few weeks ago and never actually followed through it because their team is a big mess.

Kettering branch Amazing and friendly, welcoming and very helpful. This is the first time moving into our new house and the estate agents have been brilliant. They’ve kept us up to date with everything and we knew when they knew. They’ve worked with us and helped us out. They’ve worked with the landlords as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with them. We viewed so many houses with other estate agents and was let down everytime. We viewed a house and said yes, they got the ball rolling straight away! Definitely would recommend the Kettering branch if you ever decide to move near or to Kettering.
