With so many people having good experience, I think my bad experience is down to one person misleading us but the way it was dealt with was appalling. They tried to protect their staff members error rather then just apologise and just get on with. I don't think he works there now though

Helpful, professional and in my experience a cut above the rest. Having delt with almost every agent in town, worked for/with several of them and owned my own, I can safely say I'd recommend Haart above the others. First and foremost..I would NEVER recommend Haart to anyone! I was looking to sell my shared ownership property with them. Agreed a standard 12 week contract. The representative that was closing the deal promised me everything under the sun. Telling me they have buyers lined up right now, telling me this will be sold very quickly. In the whole 3 months I had a total of ONE viewing and I had to chase up for that! I apparently had a second viewing that never turned up and no one from Haart called me to let me know what was going on. I had to make the calls to chase this up. Their reply was they are getting in contact with the people who were meant to view and they will call me back to let me know. No call ever materialised just like every other time they stated they will call. No one ever contacted me to update me on any progression, it was me calling them for answers and it always seemed that when ever I had a viewing lined up (the grand total of twice) it was a result of ME calling them to see what is happening! The fees they charge are astronomical and they expect to get these fees for doing nothing at all. I called them up and told them I was leaving and guess what..I got a call (4 days later) to discuss this. I told them it is off the market and they threatened me by saying that I need to give them 16 days notice even after my contract with them is up otherwise I will be liable for their feels as well as any other estate agent fees, should I sell my property in this time. I cannot believe how much this branch of Haart has no interest in customer satisfaction. Avoid them at all costs. Giving them one star is one star too much in my eyes! Diabolical service.
