We bought our house through Marie at Fine and Country Northampton. We actually met Marie whilst viewing another property but we can honestly say we were impressed by her knowledge, diligence and cooperation on the first viewing. We then came across Marie for our eventual house, recently bought and she has proved responsive, honest and helpful throughout our end buying process and we feel she was fundamental to pushing through the completion in time not only to meet the stamp duty deadline but also prior to the birth of our son. One of the frustrations in house buying can be chasing a chain, Marie took this role on and kept us updated and helped to ensure movement between agents, buyers, sellers and conveyancers occurred. Having encountered a few agents during our search we can honestly say Marie was fantastic. She always gave us confidence and on the rare occasions she might not have known the answer she sought out the answer swiftly, often within an hour or so. Marie’s remarkable work ethic We were with another agent for 6 months, they showed know interest or drive to sell our house. We decided to go with a different agent. We went with Marie from fine and Country Marie had the drive and a different outlook on the selling of our home . She booked one open day for potential buyers to view, on that day we had a disaster, a water leak!!! (we were away at the time) Marie not only sold our house in it’s worst state , she helped with the clean up !! We were kept informed all the way through out the sale of our home . Organised a viewing as an open day for this coming Saturday. Told under no circumstances viewing allowed before. Was emailed 2 days before to say viewing for the open day cancelled due to vendor accepting a viewing and an offer accepted. You understand why estate agents have a bad name. Shouldn’t have allowed this to happen everyone should be given a fair chance We were in a position to offer and move. Disgraceful on estate agent and vendor Appalling under handed Also emailed day before we were to view after cancellation to remind us to keep the appointment. Insult to injury Style above substance Rubbish I spoke to the vendor on the Friday before our open house appointment was supposed to go ahead I told her that you’d emailed us to cancel then to put salt in the wound emailed us to not forget the appointment she said she’d been advised to cancel the open day by yourself. We were willing to give well above the asking price and it a position to proceed but not given the opportunity She’d showed the interested parties and I state parties as it was more than one viewing organised before the open due to no one being available from F&C so this was not her doing at all. Once again my first review stands Style above substance underhanded

If I could give a Zero star I would have. I own a grade 2 listed building which I am looking to sell. Dec 2nd 2024 I phoned to book a valuation. I was told everyone was busy and I would get a call back. 5 weeks passed and no one called me back. Now perhaps I got lost in the system? However all my details were found and I was promised a phone call as everyone was again busy. 3 weeks later still no phone call????? Aren't estate agents in the profession of selling houses!!!!! Go elsewhere..........
