GoogleBe very careful when giving these guys a holding deposit you will not get it back god forbid you don’t pass the reference check which I didn’t through no fault of my own. We just found this out to our misery and the service was shocking was told a move in date by email then totally ignored by the staff and to find the staff member had went on annual leave leaving us in total limbo and felt from the beginning we were looked down on which we absolutely were. I hate leaving bad reviews but please avoid these guys like the plague don’t give them any money unless your sure you have done your own checks as they will do anything to keep your money very unprofessional service

Whilst I understand your frustration in this situation, our processes are quite clear. Our application form that you signed clearly states that your holding deposit is non refundable should you withdraw from the application, fail right to rent checks, give false or misleading information or fail to adhere to the deadlines as set out. I have checked the file accordingly and you were kept up to date every step of the way, at no time were you "left in limbo". We would always look to work towards a proposed move in date however this would never be confirmed until we are in receipt of acceptable references. Further more on this occasion the final decision lay with the Landlord and not ourselves.

GoogleHaving not been involved with estate agents/property dealings for 14 years I was initially sceptical and a little anxious. From start to finish of selling my property( auction) the North shields team consistently went above and beyond. The 6 week process took longer due to external issues ( illness and land registry)but was superbly managed by the team with regular updates .I can't recommend them enough! Outstanding property photos:- Thankyou Sam! Excellent and clear communication around auction:- a new concept for me. Thankyou Dominic! Consistent updates and communication from purchasers and solicitors- Thankyou leanne and Tracey! The whole team are professional and excellent at what they do, with a warm and friendly attitude.

FacebookAre you looking to rent a property in North Tyneside? If you are, then you should beware when using Moving Homes. They took our deposit 2 years ago, and rather than protecting this in a deposit protection scheme, they have handed it to the landlord unprotected. We have lost the whole amount. Landlord not responding and Moving Homes not accepting responsibility. Not only that but they have lied to my face about where the money is. Do not trust this company. We paid them in good faith and have not had a penny back. We are devastated.

Louise, We here at Moving Homes are devastated also that you have taken to social media regarding this matter. As discussed with you directly your deposit is protected and you have signed evidence to prove this. As you know, when you moved into the property the deposit was passed to your Landlord to register as we do not support her chosen Deposit Protection Scheme providers. You have been given the relevant information required to request your deposit and the Landlord has advised she is dealing with this. I really don't know what else you want me to do regarding this matter. Moving Homes are not at fault and I would appreciate you contacting me through the proper channels rather than a social platform.

Honestly I have sold and bought a few houses in the past and can’t express my thanks and gratitude enough. They gave a personal touch and always contactable even out side of hours. FacebookUnfortunately I have been informed that Moving Homes have breached regulations which has caused me immense stress resulting in me having to have the locks changed on mine and my daughters own home and has forced me to take legal advice. I do not wish to go into details and don’t want the lady I spoke to get into trouble, however this matter is now in the hands of my Solicitor.

Tracy & the whole team I dealt with were professional, friendly & very helpful, exactly what you would hope for if you were selling or buying. I always felt they were genuinely interested & that didn’t change through the whole process. I’d definitely recommend.
