GoogleWe recently bought a property from Moving Homes which was a corporate sale.The company selling the property were terrible to deal with making both us and the agents jump through hoops whilst being very slow themselves.

She came prepared to all veiwings with a copy of the property details, a friendly face and all the information we needed. This may seem what you would expect but we had not had the same level of preparedness with other agents.
Once we had found the home of our dreams Tracy went above and beyond to keep us on the right track and often gave us more information than our solicitors did, even past office hours!

GoogleI've gave them 2 stars because my house did sell quickly, wether that was the agents or the house and the time it was for sale I'm unsure. Also the lady that comes out at first is very nice to deal with.
However i felt the advice given was very poor. I was told to stop any future viewings when an offer was made (unsure why i would do this when they are booked in and are in the next day or two which was the weekend. I almost lost out on 5k because of it). I also had a viewing of a house i was interested in cancelled like this with this agent, which then came back onto the market. Also the staff talk to you like dirt even though im the one paying them and they are very poor at answering the phone.
Edited this to add to the reply below but the person that actually bought the house was a viewing 2 days after the original offer, so I would of cancelled this man's viewing. Lol. Just shows you how bad this agent is when they don't even understand what happened unless they are trying to word it so they look better.

Sorry you feel our advise was poor on this occasion. We did indeed sell your home after 14 viewings and you accepted an offer over the asking price from a very committed buyer and as we had proof of funds and everything needed, it would be unethical to continue to take further viewings in the future as this could lead to a possible gazumping situation that no Agent, seller or buyer would want. Therefore our advise would rightly be to have no further viewings. As for a viewing you wanted on a house which was sold, we did inform you straight away it was back on the market which again is the correct procedure in this situation. With regards to staff, I have taken this seriously as I have never had a complaint of this nature before. I can see staff on the day of completion were anxious about timescales for keys coming in for the new owner, so I do apologise if any member of the team came across as anything other than professional. Lastly I have checked our sales progression notes and see we spoke to you every step of the way and should you have left a message on our answering machine we will have called you back. Again I am sorry you felt the need over the festive holiday to write this review and we will certainly take your comments on board.

GoogleBe very careful when giving these guys a holding deposit you will not get it back god forbid you don’t pass the reference check which I didn’t through no fault of my own. We just found this out to our misery and the service was shocking was told a move in date by email then totally ignored by the staff and to find the staff member had went on annual leave leaving us in total limbo and felt from the beginning we were looked down on which we absolutely were. I hate leaving bad reviews but please avoid these guys like the plague don’t give them any money unless your sure you have done your own checks as they will do anything to keep your money very unprofessional service

Whilst I understand your frustration in this situation, our processes are quite clear. Our application form that you signed clearly states that your holding deposit is non refundable should you withdraw from the application, fail right to rent checks, give false or misleading information or fail to adhere to the deadlines as set out.
I have checked the file accordingly and you were kept up to date every step of the way, at no time were you "left in limbo".
We would always look to work towards a proposed move in date however this would never be confirmed until we are in receipt of acceptable references. Further more on this occasion the final decision lay with the Landlord and not ourselves.
