Abbotts recently sold our cottage in Walcott for us. It was quite a roller coaster - lots of interest and offers, which was great, but it took a while for us to find our buyer. Thorough out that time, Emma and Sharon were a great 'tag team' I could always talk to one of them and they knew what the situation was. They were very flexible - our property was a holiday let and there were times where they went above and beyond to make sure the cottage was ready to view. Once we'd found our buyer, their post sales efforts were great. The only negative for me was the Solicitor that our buyers used - DCLaw. They were recommended to them by Abbotts and I have to say, they were terrible. Our buyers found them extremely difficult and slow to deal.

We recently sold our property through Abbotts in Wroxham and wow what exceptional service from everyone involved from Jack who came to value our property to then marketing it and then Sharon, Emma and kelvin all keeping us updated throughout and also a special shoutout to Emma who carried out the viewings on our property and knew all the information about the viewers and also updated us weekly with the after sales process which is exactly what you want from your agent, she was amazing! It’s clear to see that everyone in the office is so passionate about selling homes and offering excellent service from start to finish.

The experience I had from start to finish with the team at Wroxham was fantastic, the professional approach in marketing my property, leading to it being sold was great. Unfortunately the sale fell through but this was not the fault of the agency, just unscrupulous buyers messing both me and Abbots about. They marketed my property immediately again and the support I got from Emma, kelvin and the rest of the team was unbelievable and professional, with regular updates and great advice. Putting the unfortunate upset we had to one side, the overall journey was made simply and manageable by Abbots.

Unfortunately, our property remained on the market for considerably longer than we would have wished, being a difficult period of political uncertainty and for houses of our price range. It was eventually necessary to do a price reduction in order to secure a sale. During the period Abbotts were very supportive and their wide reach of agencies led to a substantial number of potential buyer viewings. During our dealings with Abbotts, staff were always courteous and helpful and were always prepared to escort potential buyers around the property in our absence. They would also do an intial of assessment of interested customers to ensure there were no “time wasters”.

I completed on a house in Ludham in June. In the early stages the team at Abbotts in Wroxham were lovely, not only facilitating the initial visit but helping out at short notice when we wanted see the property again (and again!) Once the offer was accepted they were very diligent in chasing solicitors and the vendors to ensure that I always knew what was going on and the whole transaction went through with out a hitch. I also used their mortgage service and they helped me find a suitable short term mortgage that was needed until my house sold. I have no hesitation in recommending them to you if you are trying to buy or sell a local property.

Excellent service provided by Abbotts in Wroxham. Initially Simon managed the contacts by visiting my elderly relative personally, making it an easy process for less able bodied clients. Then the entire process was handled perfectly by Emma, from numerous viewings, arranging EPC, holding keys, even helped me with meter readings. Abbotts recommended a great solicitor who they worked closely with. An excellent recommendation too, well worth going with their suggestion. We brought a bungalow from a seller using Abbott’s at the beginning of the year. Tim @ Kings Lynn branch truly went above & beyond for us. He attended extra viewings, even on his Saturday day offs. He kept us updated as to progress. But above all else he was in constant contact with the seller & their solicitor, pushing them along to get the sale through in the timeframe we needed. He made endless phone calls, got involved in paperwork where he had no obligation to & was always on the end of the phone when we needed him. Would recommend Tim to anyone. Very knowledgeable and helpful. They prioritised sending the right person round rather than the number of people they sent round. Then, after we sold they were very helpful in the conveyancing process. They have a specific department for that who was able to explain things when I was unsure and to liaise with solicitors and the other agents. When problems arose they were key in resolving it and finding the right solution. While we worked mainly with Joanna from Thorpe Bay we also had a lot of help from Amy on the after sale. They have also continued to support us after the sale.

I can't truly rate the service because I've had none! I've tried for over a week to get some information on a property listed in their Stowemarket branch. I've left messages, I've emailed, I've used the chatbox, the contact form and made 4 phone calls, which no one answered or responds to the recorded messages I've left. I phoned a bigger branch who told me they would contact the branch and get them to call me....nothing. Not a peep. I started this a week ago, because I'm in Suffolk at the weekend and wanted to arrange a viewing. I've had to give up and make other plans. There is clearly something wrong with their communications dept. If they have one!?!

We have been incredibly lucky to have Abbotts as our estate agents. They have been fantastic from the beginning including the sale of our property and especially during the post sale process. Due to issues in our long chain, because of others below us not getting mortgages approved twice, it led to the process taking 7 months. This led to a few moments where people were close to pulling out and collapsing the chain completely. Thankfully Emma at Abbotts was at hand to communicate effectively with all parties in the chain and keep things going smoothly until we finally exchanged contracts. For anyone trying to decide which agent to use in this area, I would recommend Abbotts without hesitation.
