I have worked and lived in Finchley for over 35 years. I absolutely love the area, especially the large array of diverse shops on the high street. No matter who are, or where you're from, you'll be at home in Finchley! It's a real community here. I love it. Who am I? Just a friendly, family man really. I love to help the people of Finchley, and there's nothing I love more than putting myself out there for people. Anytime you have a question about property, or the housing market. Just stop me in the street, or say hi in the shop. I'm always happy to help. I've worked in property since 2006, I'm actually a landlord as well as a business owner! So I know how to look after my (and yours) tenants! I'm born and raised in Finchley, and my knowledge of the area is second to none. New to Finchley? I'll give you the grand tour!

The guys at Ewe Move were an absolute breath of fresh air - easy to deal with, friendly, approachable and honest. I was recommended to use Ewe Move by a friend who had also sold through them and I can safely say it was a solid recommendation. Never did I feel I was being given the ‘hard sell’ by Alfie and co and none of these guys have the in-sincereness of so many other Estate Agents I have encountered over the years! Obviously they are a business and want to make a profit but it was never all about making their money - they are clearly very ethical and genuinely want the best for their customers (never thought I’d say that about an Estate Agent! Lol) Communication was really straightforward and responsive (through a WhatsApp group) and these guys never push you or make you feel under pressure (believe me, many others do!). In terms of fees, they offer a very reasonable price and package and I really feel their honest, sincere and friendly model of doing business will put them in great stead for the future. I would thoroughly recommend using these guys!

It was a pleasure to work with EweMove Finchley to sell my flat. For a reasonable fee, they take professional photographs, and place really good postings, conduct all viewings and assist during the sale process from start to finish. What I liked most about EweMove is that they use WhatsApp for communication, so no more long waits on the phone or missed calls. Everything just goes smooth. Special thanks to Alfie, who was amazing throughout the process, but of course behind him is a whole team of great people, so thanks all!!

The team were outstanding throughout the entire process. I was kept informed at all times. I believe I was given great advice that helped me to sell my property in a very challenging market. It’s the first time I used Ewe Move and they provided excellent value for money. I had a very disappointing experience with this agency. From start to finish, it was clear that all their focus and loyalty were directed solely toward satisfying the landlord, with little to no consideration for the tenant. Despite the fact that I paid a significant amount of money to renew the property and improve it, around £6,000 spent on making the house better and more presentable, none of this effort or investment was acknowledged or respected. As a tenant, I felt completely undervalued and unsupported. Communication was poor, concerns were ignored, and any issues raised were handled in a way that clearly favoured the landlord, regardless of fairness or reason. Paying a large amount to renew and upgrade a property should come with at least basic respect and balanced treatment, but that was not the case here. I would not recommend this agency to tenants. If you are looking for an agent that treats tenants fairly and professionally, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you feel dissatisfied; however, we feel it is important to clarify the facts of this matter. The tenancy was ended without the required notice being provided, and this was clearly explained at the time. Following check-out, the property was not returned in a similar condition to that recorded at the start of the tenancy, which resulted in deductions being proposed in line with the tenancy agreement. At no point did we ask you to spend £6,000 on the property- also you did this without the landlord consent. All repair requests were dealt with in a timely manner. As managing agents, we act on behalf of the landlord and are required to follow the correct procedures. All deductions and the process were fully explained to you, and your deposit was protected with the DPS. Where disputes arise, the DPS makes an independent decision. If the adjudicator finds in favour of the landlord, this is not a decision made by ourselves. We always aim to be transparent and fair, and we regret that this experience has been stressful for you. Should you wish to discuss the matter further, we would encourage you to contact us directly rather than via a public forum.

Everyone at EweMove were absolutely wonderful. Khilan, Rimple and Shabnam really went above and beyond to make sure that the process was calm and stress free. Shabnam in particular was so lovely and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer agent (and my past experience has taught me to be wary!) I would definitely recommend them and I will definitely go back to them if we decide to move again.

I wouldn’t recommend renting through Ewemove. I dealt with Khilan, who showed no real interest in helping or ensuring client satisfaction. The experience was disappointing and unprofessional.

This review is unwarranted and does not accurately reflect the situation. Martin Kingsley is part of K&M First Property, the management company overseeing a block of flats. They brought to my attention a reported leak from my property into the flat below. As the leaseholder, I have engaged multiple contractors to investigate the matter, and each time, no leak has been identified. Furthermore, previous management also dispatched their own contractors, who similarly confirmed there was no leak from my flat. Despite this, I remain open to further investigations, provided that the costs are covered if no leak is found, which has not been accepted. This review should not have been directed at Ewemove Finchley, as the disagreement pertains to the leaseholder and the management company of the block, not the Estate Agents. It appears to be a response to my request for a formal complaints policy and does not represent an accurate account of the circumstances.
