TW Gaze Estate Agents, in particular, Sarah Meek, have been absolutely incredible from start to finish with the purchase of my new property in Suffolk. Sarah was very accomodating. I was able to view the property 3 times myself, and my family have also been to the property a number of times. As John Ruskin said, ‘All great and beautiful work has come of first Gazing….’ (!) I bought my home through TW Gaze recently, and start to finish (which, thanks to Kate & Sarah, was not very long at all!) the service was way beyond anything I have experienced with any other estate agent. The staff are highly professional and with unparalleled expertise in the region, but at the same time extremely friendly, with no mile too far to go to help progress the purchase. This level of service does not happen by itself, nor overnight (and it has taken TW Gaze 170 years to become this good, so other agents are at least a century behind!), and it speaks volumes of the philosophy within the company and their commitment to giving such a high-quality service. I bought 4 lots via the Easylive internet facility. 3 of the 4 are and were obviously faulty and now consigned to the bin. Beware their 'sold as seen' get out of jail card and ask for a condition report on any item where there may be doubt. An expensive lesson learned - I will certainly not be trusting them again.

I placed several commission bids with this auction house in last weeks sale. Bids I place with all other auction houses are regarded as maximum bids, but not here! BEWARE. Commission bids, according to their T&Cs are discretionary, meaning they can bid more than your actual maximum bid. I was charged £400 more on 6 lots, plus their fees, costing an additional £500 more than I had intended to spend.

Everyone in the Diss office, (Carol, Sarah and Zoe), kept us well informed throughout, without inundating us with unnecessary emails. From the initial evaluation through the negotiating phase, to Completion of the sale, communication was timely, clear and friendly, and we always felt confident that the whole process was in safe, experienced hands. I was selling my late mother's property from abroad, so it was also very convenient to have the interface with Gaze auction rooms to streamline the removal of furniture and house contents. Pauline, in the auction rooms office, was especially kind and patient, explaining the auction process, booking haulage, and putting us in touch with a house clearance company. TW gaze offered an excellent service. Compared to some of the big chains there was a no pressure approach, at no point did I feel that there was a hard sell on any other products and that was such a relief, there was no additional charges for photographs and no sneaky hidden costs. They updated us even when there wasn’t much to update and always replied to emails promptly, they listened to our requests when we wanted to change things to try and boost the sale and we’re an excellent go between the other estate agents and solicitors. We’re now in our beautiful new house and couldn’t be happier!

I thought selling my late Uncles property 160 miles away from my home could possibly be a challenge, but exactly the opposite. The team at Diss office were amazing.
