Agent that blocks viewing's & offers

I wonder are Mr Grants vendors aware that he is blocking serious buyers from viewing their property, costing them a potential sale.

Serious buyers don't engage in rude and abusive behaviour. Mark rang to request a viewing of a property listed less than 24 hours earlier. The member of staff gave him two times next week when we will be conducting viewings at the property and was asked if either of those suited. They didn't. He then requested a Friday viewing but our vendor client has specifically asked for no veiwings on a Friday. At this point Mark became rude and sarcastic to the member of staff who took a beat and tried to re-engage with Mark to find an alternative time. The rudeness and sarcasm continued so she asked him to refrain but he just became more verbally aggressive. She put him through to me and I agreed to listen back to the phone recording and call him back. Upon calling him back he continued to deny that he had been rude, even though the evidence was clear in the recording, which I offered to send to him. I'm sure our clients appreciate the steps that we take to vet potential viewers before letting them into their properties. Manners cost nothing. Our door is always open to genuine buyers but we simply ask for some basic respect.

Recently sold a property through Grants and found all the staff very helpful and engaging. The sale wasn’t as straight forward as first thought but the staff were able to navigate there way though to completion.

That’s a bit of a stretch, Simon. When you booked your viewing you were given the earliest available time that suited you and us. In the intervening 3 days some appointments got cancelled or rescheduled so when new viewing requests came in they were booked to tie in with yours. There is no exclusivity on viewings. It’s an open market. I was there able and willing to show you around at the agreed time but you chose to leave without even speaking to me and then try to cause us commercial damage with a bad review. That’s a shame.
