What can I say! With the market the way it is at the moment, finding somewhere to rent has been very stressful! Thanks to the guys at Peter Alan for making it so much easier! Cerys was fantastic showing us around at the viewing and Phoebe Redman has literally done everything possible to make the process easier for us! Peter Alan Newport is not only a great place to be but you will meet the best possible people in th letting business. The will get you the best suitable accommodation adapted to your lifestyle and budget in no time. My present accommodation was an excellent example of their tremendous success story. After viewing a place or two and wasn't picked by the landlord, they came up with suggestions and accommodation that really surprised me and within a week all paper work was completed. I am especially grateful to Mr Daniel who kindly listened to me like a therapist and Phoebe who was was fantastic in drilling down to the final choice of my present accommodation. They are extremely friendly and fun to work with. Cheers to you all. Peter Alan is well recommended by me as number one.

During January 2022 I had 3 tenants give me notice from 3 of my properties in Newport, within a couple of weeks of each other. I was concerned I would be without tenants in 3 properties for an extended period of time and would be losing a lot of money! In each case I got hold of Peter Alan in Newport, gave them the details of my soon to be vacant property with available from date and contact details of my current tenants. They agreed to handle getting it all resolved and to minimise the vacant periods in each case. They liaised directly with the tenants. They carried out virtual tours of each property and immediately after each virtual tour they came straight back to me with their proposed marketing and with what rent they believed they could achieve. In each case, significantly higher than I was achieving! Each time I agreed with their marketing proposal and their proposed rental value. Each time within a day they had the property marketed on their own web site and on Right Move. Their virtual tours were excellent, they handled everything themselves, keeping me informed at all time and they found suitable tenants within a week in all 3 cases. For all three flats they had the cleaning completed within 2 days of the tenant moving out and had the excellent inventory completed within another day. The total number of days when any of the flats were empty and I wasn’t earning rent, was less than 10 days! I thought I was going to be skint but actually ended up with my rents more than 20% higher, new happy tenants and new 12months contracts in place for all 3 flats. Un-f...ing-believable. Special thanks to Bethan, Dan and to Phoebe who is their expert on doing the virtual tours. Not forgetting Nick of course the boss. I could not recommend Peter Alan in Newport, strongly enough.

Attended a house viewing. Expressed interest at the appointment and was told I’d get a call tomorrow to talk about putting forward an application. But they didn’t call. I ended up calling them and they were really short and said that they actually have put forward my details to the landlord and they’ll contact me once they’ve heard back. (One thing to note is that I hadn’t completed any application form for this property yet?) 2 weeks go by and still haven’t heard from them. Checked online and says it’s been let. Very disappointing.

We have seen many houses with most estate agents in the area and have found Peter Alan to be the best. Ellie was friendly, helpful and gave us a second viewing slot that accommodated my partner's working hours. Kyle in the office was very quick and helpful in dealing with vendors and processing. At every point they were clear, honest and helpful. We didn't feel pressured or rushed at any point. 10/10- will use this team's service again.

One star is too high. Quite possibly the worst letting company out there - I have had nothing but problems. Between not letting my tenant know when windows were being changed, to consistently getting my address wrong, to not passing on key information from the tenant, not completing end of tenancy checks (took over a week), telling me there was fleas and refusing to take it out the deposit asking us to pay upfront. They refused to cover loss of income. Incredibly patronising, lots of 'we can only apologise' - yet did nothing about it. Didn't listen and stuck to the party line, and wouldn't do anything off their own backs. I had to do all the chasing up. Spoke to a different person every time. Never answer their phones or listen to their messages. Completely incompetent

Just started the process of letting with Peter Alan. They have been very good with their frequent communication, especially Lisa and Nicholas. They have been friendly and professional. The inventory check-in is very detailed - we feel confident with moving and I'm sure we'll feel covered when leaving. Well where to start the staff at Peter Alan have been exceptional, this is the secound house we have let we had a really bad experience with the first letting agency which we chose over Peter Alan and have regretted it ever since. We veiwed two houses with Ollie who was lovely and very informative, we have had numerous conversations with Stevie and Mark when phoning for queries, Nick and James were very welcoming and informative and helped make the progress easy for us, lastly Lisa for getting us the keys to the property 2 days early and for explaining everything to makeing the signing process easy for us also for recommending the tenants insurance it was explained well and detailed and we were by no means forced to take it. All in all i have to say i would highly recommend Peter Alan to anyone the service they provide is second to none and they are very professional and friendly.
