I have just purchased my first ever home. Throughout the whole process, out of everyone I have liaised with such as solicitors etc, I have to say Magda has been an absolute gem! She was always the first to inform me of any updates, and always available when needed. I can not thank Magda enough for all of her hard work to ensure my purchase went though as smooth as possible. My family members have also had the same experience when buying and selling properties with Magda and Michael Graham. During the time we were dealing with the negotiators at Michael Graham’s office in Newport Pagnell and in particular with their senior negotiator, Magda Duff, for the sale of our house in Giffard Park we had a super experience with them all the way through the process. In particular Magda’s cheerful and positive approach, ably assisted by her junior colleague Catherine Johnson, was key to us getting a fantastic offer within 3 weeks of the house going on sale. Thereafter right through to completion, some 10 weeks later, Magda kept her finger on the pulse of the process ensuring that there were no delays or holdups and she communicated and kept us very well informed at all times. She responded rapidly and effectively whenever we had a question or concern and basically she, efficiently supported by Catherine, were key in making the whole transaction very easy, smooth and stress free. Magda’s personal networking skills also shone through and are one of the key elements, along with her deep knowledge of the local property market, for her obvious fit for her role within the Michael Graham organisation. We are both extremely happy that we selected Magda and thereby Michael Graham to act as sole agents for us for the sale of our property, and would do the same again in a heartbeat should the need ever arise in the future. We had a very successful morning with Claire. The first house we saw wasn't right for us, Claire chatted with us and understood what we wanted. We weren't booked with any other houses as our second choice had gone under offer. Claire didn't want us to have a wasted journey, she managed to get keys and get us viewings at different houses that hadn't been on our radar. Her enthusiasm was contagious so off we went and we have just offered on the last house we saw which we hadn't even thought of viewing! Great job!!

We were lucky enough to have both our sale and our purchase handled by the Newport Pagnell (Sale) and Stony Stratford (purchase) branches. We used this estate agents for our most recent move which completed in January 2026. We had our house put on the market in May and sold for 15k under the asking in June. We did get an okay price for the house but they were one of the highest percentage because they said they could get the most for the house. In the time between putting the house on the market and exchanging there were several estate agents hired and fired. The guy who sold our house didn't come to the initial walk through of the house and turned up for his first viewing without a key and wanting a walk through which wasn't communicated to us before hand. Luckily he turned up moments before we left the home. He did sell the house and was good on that part but sadly he put a lot of pressure on me to fill out solicitor paperwork within days of our offer being expected after making him aware I had just returned back to work after maternity leave and working long hours. I didn't appreciate this. He was good at chasing the above chain but was pushing far too much as we had people further up the chain who had delays due housing registry. He was saying our buyers would pull out and putting unnecessary pressure on us. As well as asking us to break chain with a 8 month old baby. I then learnt our buyers solistors hadn't even completed and satisfied everything months later so they weren't even ready to exchange themselves. Then a few weeks went by I email him as I hadn't heard from him I emailed but heard nothing. I then called a few days later and told her no longer worked there. After he left none of the other estate agents chased anything. They were actually asking me for updates which I found very unprofessional and at that point I wasn't sure what I was paying them for! I saw the entire exchange through and then only heard from them again when the called on moving day asking for our keys. I then got a strange call on moving day after dropping off the keys asking if we had keys for the garage as our buyers couldn't get in. Our property didn't come with a garage at all. I then never heard back! Sadly I think I'd go with another estate agents as the office seems in a bit of a mess and not interested in chasing anything along. They were more bothered about our buyers then us and we're there clients and the people paying them!
