Professional and Efficient!

After 18 months of searching and having viewed over 40 properties, I was pretty frustrated and beginning to feel as if I would never find somewhere to buy. Michael had it sewn up from viewing to offer accepted within 24 hours and he even sorted me out with a solicitor when mine was being slow! Professional and efficient service from beginning to end. Very impressed for the second time

After finding a great tenant through Bradley’s tremendous help last year, Brad had helped me find another great tenant this year!Brad was keeping me informed about the development step by step. Wonderful service and highly recommend!

Mark Collis at The Good Estate Agent was brilliant during my viewing of a property. He was extremely professional and courteous from the very beginning, but at the same time with a friendly and approachable manner which made everything so easy. He was also able to answer all my questions regarding the property and was obviously very familiar with what he was representing. This is so important as it creates a great impression but also saves me as a buyer time in not having to call up later to ask questions that can be answered at the viewing. Where to start? From day one Mark was always honest, upfront, reliable and easily contactable which is just what you need when selling a house!Mark being an independent agent was great as he was always our primary point of access which was amazing, there is noting worse than having to explain yourself 3 times to various agents just to get to the bottom of what is happening! I found Terence Cunningham to be an arrogant, patronising and domineering person. Several times over the course of a couple of months, he spoke over me and I found it very difficult to get a word in edgeways. If I tried to voice my concerns about anything, he seemed to become rather irritated and frustrated, during which times, he would speak over me. If I questioned anything, he would become defensive and irritated. Once I stood my ground, he dropped me like a hot brick, as is common with many domineering, controlling people. If you won't tolerate their behaviour, they move on to the next person. I also found his advice to be less than helpful. When I said I was going to buy a washing machine, he said to hold off, as tenants sometimes bring their own. I thought it was odd, as it's not something you easily pop in a box and transport, and sure enough, the new letting agent I am working with now, said that that is very rare! He then told me that the new prospective tenant had his own washing machine. Then he told me the opposite; that the tenant needed a washing machine. Once I stood my ground against his domineering attitude, he dropped me like a hot brick, yet decided to use my property on his website, showing it as having been let and under management. This is fraudulent! This man is arrogant, domineering and controlling. Avoid at all costs!

A pleasure to deal with

Mark was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Not thing was every too much trouble and he was always available. During our first viewing he was chatty, professional and gave us all the time we needed. He even arranged with the owners for us to stay longer so that another family member could join us. I especially liked that he was in no way pushy and did not try to "sell" us the house. Once we had decided to offer, he handled the negotiation professionally and gave us immediate updates. He even phoned us at around 8pm to let us know that our offer had been accepted!Mark was friendly and professional throughout the whole process. He was helpful in arranging our completion date with the other members of our chain. It was great to deal with a genuine person who lives locally and was always available. Would happily recommend Mark.

Michelle Ferbrache is a smart, savvy estate agent.She brings knowledge of the market and negotiating skills to the fore. Comparing my experience of working with large Estate Agencies in the north, I have found Michelle more like an Adviser than an agent, in fact I could use that much-vaunted term, Trusted Adviser. She has a great network of colleagues to draw on, she is responsive, be it evening or weekend (you don't get that from a big agency) and has delivered everything she promised. I liked the fact that she took control of the day's viewings and the outcome of her negotiations was a substantial uplift on the asking price. Thank you!

Tried to make an appointment for viewing an Edinburgh property. Both landline and mobile numbers just go to voicemail, with no return call. Perhaps the Vendor might wonder why his property has been on the market for several months now without obtaining any offer?
