TrustpilotAvoid using any solicitors recommend by Pattisons!
I had a horrendous experience with Bridgeview Law, specifically with Ryan Kelly, the so-called "Junior Conveyancer." This firm is a complete disaster, and I urge everyone to steer clear!They picked up my case just before the completion date and sent the TR1 form less than 24 hours before the complaint date, expecting it to be signed and returned in time. They didn't even request a redemption statement from my lenders until AFTER the original completion date! I've called and emailed them countless times, but they completely ignored me.To top it off, they moved forward with the completion without any warning, claiming on the day that they were looking to complete. This was despite their prior promise that it would only take a week from the original date. They completely ruined my holiday by missing the deadline!The original completion date was supposed to be through Pattisons Auction on 22/08/24, but they finally completed on 9/9/24. Now, I'm still waiting for my funds and answers to my questions. The funds look suspiciously low, and the redemption costs seem way higher than it should be. I've raised my concerns, but once again, no response!After reading all the negative reviews, it's clear that this company is a shambles. If you want to waste your money or risk having your sale fall through, then go ahead and use them. Otherwise, do yourself a favour and avoid Bridgeview Law and Pattisons Auction like the plague!

We recently sold our house through Pattinsons South Shields and used their recommended solicitors ICS Law and the communication between an ‘in-house’ firm and estate agents was dreadful. How can you recommend a firm that the office openly says is awful. On one instance I was phoned by Pattinsons relaying info from our buyers and when I phoned back to give an answer Keith the ‘Senior Manager’ stated he won’t pass that message on as that’s not his job. He told me to call the solicitors to do that he won’t get involved…when someone from his office was the one who called me in the first place and got involved!! We won’t be using either of these again and to others just pay slightly more and get a better service.

Pattinsons are advertising an hmo( 10 students) at 10 st judes ter south shields or a man who is bankrupt and has laundered £100000 cash from trafficking immigrants and has gained the hmo licence in a fake name using a fake passport. Patt know the business is not legimate or registered with companies house or hmrc yet they are still advertising his hmo which he does not own on paper .He has police protection as he is the head of the mosque at south shieldsThis company helps people launder money which is a disgrace

The property sold had been used for rental and there had been 4 agreed sales, 3 that fell through in just over 1 year. In addition the solicitors recommended by the agent were closed down, so there was a lot of tension about buyer 4. Wendy kept on top of the progress and kept in regular proactive contact with the buyer, their solicitor and estate agent and my newly appointed solicitor. She kept me appraised of developments and was aware of the issues at each stage. Prior to this phase it had been dificult to speak with the progression team and Angela in the office had been very helpful. I think it very prudent for your firm to retain and reward Wendy in the interests of achieving customer satisfaction and providing experience, commitment and sensitive motivation to advancing sales.

I hold I property in Newcastle with Pattersons, they fully manage the property and have gone above and beyond.Stephen Wilson in particular is amazing.We had a problem with the electrical company and Stephen went the extra mile talking to the power company on our behalf and even siting in a empty property for hours out of his work hours for the company to come and fix the power.Well and truly a outstanding branch and will be using in the future to manage more of our portfolio.

Very pleasant, friendly, and professional!From the initial valuation of our property to final contract exchange their service was excellent; great communication, information, and highly professional.An important point my wife and I would make to anyone looking for an agent is the impressive way Darren (Branch Manager), assessed our property and explained exactly what would happen regarding the sale. Every single aspect of his advice was proved to be correct; price, types of offers, knowledge of the area etc every part of the process happened exactly as he said it would!Once offers were (immediately) received we were supported brilliantly by the branch who were there for us through the whole journey, nothing was a problem to them; they worked with us. Why choose Pattinsons? It’s very very simple from start to finish in the process Pattinsons were fantastic. We needed to market quickly & it was done in a matter of a couple of days. The staff that dealt with the marketing of the property (Morpeth office) were friendly, informative & professional. We had a viewing within a couple of days & an offer made which we accepted. The sales team at the Alnwick office then were on the ball making sure the process was smooth & speedy we were completed within 12 weeks. Just brilliant service from all involved at Pattinsons would 100% recommend.

How UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE .....( Jason ) Jarrow Office.You KNEW the situation we were in a week ago ... So hounding my daughter with 8 phone calls in 5 days was totally unwarrented and your non action today was equally TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE .... We have no problem AT ALL with the house in question being sold to someone else ... Today we were in the process of securing a very expensive bridging loan that if had been accepted would have been totally useless with US potentially incurring interest charges and solicitors fees for a house that had already been sold .... However what I do find extremely rude is YOU not having the common courtesy of giving us a phone call Informing us that things had changed …. As already stated you had absolutely no problem calling numerous times when it wasn’t sold.Make no mistake if this is how Pattinson Estate Agents treat their potential customers it would appear we have had a lucky escape and you will certainly not be getting any of our future business.Response to your seemingly standard replies to 1 star reviews.....EXACTLY WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO INVESTIGATE.... Surely something as simple as GOOD MANNERS should be a minimum requirement of your staff !!!!Mr Phillips

Relocating 150 miles was never going to be a walk in the park however, it was made much easier by Faye and her colleagues at Patttinson who were professional, polite, helpful and caring.We received regular updates from Pattinson which gave us the chance to pass on any info from our end and, on the odd occasion when we needed something we got an answer straight away.Full marks to Pattinson and special thanks to Faye at the Bedlington branch.

I dealt with Sheila Brannen from your Newcastle West Road Branch. She has been friendly, outstanding service, proactive in getting matters to progress. I was impressed with her excellent service from start to finish. In a time when I was dealing with a complicated purchase and sale Sheila was always on hand to help, the advice was always on point, always went the extra mile by obtaining updates from other parties, her time scales were accurate and helpful. She never missed a call, never failed to follow on something and always delivered on her word. Based on my experience with Sheila i will aways recommend your estate agents to friends and family as she delivered and got the job done. I found Sheila courteous and reliable as she delivered the best service imaginable by taking the stress out of the whole process

Wish I had done more due diligence before wasting 3 months with this company. Just go onto their website and sort by auction finishing soonest. Check out the number of properties that have received no offer at all (90 %) and of the 10% that have a bid check the number that is lower than the starting bid price. Given that the starting bid is likely to be about 15% below what you have said you will accept it demonstrates what a complete waste of time this is.I have had 4 viewings, no feedback and no offers . Although it is a difficult market I had received an offer, prior to going with Pattinsons £35k higher than the starting bid. They convinced me I would get an offer within 2 cycles and I am on my third which is their minimum contractual period ( 3 months)

Once the auction ends successfully and contracts are exchanged, a legally binding contract is formed between the buyer and the seller. Pattinson acts as the auctioneer and is not a party to that contract. Where the contractual terms are not fulfilled following exchange, any decision regarding the contract is ultimately a matter for the seller, in accordance with the agreed auction terms. I wanted to take the time to leave some feedback for the team at Pattisons Low Fell - Gateshead. In particular Megan and Joe.The team in general were fantastic but Megan and Joe really shone during my time in dealing with Pattisons as a first time buyer.As a first time buyer I was extremely anxious about the process. Megan and Joe were absolute stars through the entire thing. Answers were prompt, professional but both also had the Northern charm of compassion and understanding which really sets them apart from estate agents in a very large buisness.Megan and Joe are absolute assets to Pattisons, its values and what it stands for in terms of providing excellent, personable and professional customer care and service.I sincerely hope they both receive adequate praise and reward for their hard work and efforts. I had a wonderful experience with the West Road branch in Fenham, Newcastle upon Tyne, especially Sheila Brannen, Rebecca and Darren. Over the course of 6 months and several failed attempts, Sheila helped me get just what I needed, with a very limited budget and a very specific wishlist. She really pulled out all the stops and was super understanding of our circumstances (relocating 120 miles, to escape domestic abuse and ultimately becoming homeless, while lone parenting an autistic 4 year old). She checked in regularly, always had a sympathetic ear and a rock solid grasp of what I was after. In fact, she knew what we needed better than I did. I wouldn't have looked twice at the house I ended up buying, but it's turned out to be ideal for me and my 5 year old. I would heartily recommend Pattinson's and will definitely be in touch if we move in future. As a Smiths fan, I can't resist saying "Sheila, take a bow" 😂
