Our Daughter attends Newcastle University and we were looking for a place fall 2026. We reached out to Pat Robson and were blessed to have been helped by Tania King. I had a really positive experience with Pat Robson & Co, particularly Abbie and Cameron, who were both friendly and incredibly helpful throughout the process. Just visited the flat my son is renting in Jesmond via Pat Robson agent. The property is old, damp and dirty. The bed is falling apart and the mattress is very stained. The furniture looks like it is for for the tip (maybe that's where it came from). I thought agents inspected properties before new tenants moved in. My son hasn't moved in yet. I will be contacting them when the office opens. It is disgusting that student houses are let out in such an awful state and they have the cheek to take.deposits. We have taken lots of photographs. I'm genuinely shocked just how bad it is.

I would give 0 if I could. This company takes advantage of students paying premium rents. As a parent paying this rent I’m appalled at what has been allowed to happen. Upstairs bathroom flooded the first day my daughter took a shower due to faulty pipe work.The water was pouring through the ceiling which set off the fire alarms - installed within the electrics. My daughter was there on her own and very frightened. She contacted Pat Robson and was advised to phone the fire brigade .How is this morally right? Private landlords passing off their property defects to our already overwhelmed emergency services! Instead of getting it sorted themselves, the fire brigade had to come out and sort it. What if there was a road traffic accident or an actual fire with lives at risk? The damage caused by the flooding has still not been repaired- hole in the ceiling and soaking wet carpets and the tenants have been living with this for two months despite repeated pleas for help. If you can get any other accommodation not managed by this company- I would urge you to do it. We are now faced with having to take legal action which is a route we really didn’t want to go down. I urge Pat Robson to reply if he can deny these claims. From a very angry and concerned parent of a final year student with a chest condition.
