GoogleWe are first time landlords and have had a really good experience of Reeds Rains. We were initially trying to rent out with another agent but in 3 months they only achieved one viewing. Jack from Reeds Rains got the property on the market really quickly with no hassle and got us a tenant within a 2 or 3 weeks. We were given prompt and helpful feedback from viewings and everything has been really low hassle. Many thanks!

GoogleThis was the first time that I have rented a property, so to receive the support I have from Alivia and Amy really helped. The information provided and advice was good as it showed they were on top of their job, when I required information they come back to me quickly and followed up on any issues I had, they are always friendly and ready to help showing they enjoy their job. Time will tell but I cannot for see any problems going forward

GoogleReeds Rains just recently dealt with the sale of our house. We had a few issues at the beginning of the process when our house wasn't listed when we were told it would which we had to chase all weekend for answers. However after some moaning from me they did knock some money of our final fee to make up for this. Reeds Rains have a large customer base which works in their favour and as a result of this we sold our home fairly quickly. Reeds Rains fees we found to be at the very top end from other agents we saw but as they had sold the house next door to ours twice in a year or so we felt they would do the job. When we were at the final stages of selling our house we were constantly badgered by staff asking where our solicitor was up to, moaning he wasn't doing his job properly and the buyer was getting increasingly frustrated, I feel this should have been aimed at our solicitors directly. Once the house sale had gone through and keys were exchanged we then received an email from the accounts department demanding unpaid funds which had already been paid. Again instead of contacting our solicitor they came at us to resolve the issue. The issue was eventually resolved after I called and spoke to the solicitor.......unfortunately no apology from Reeds Rains for asking for thousands of pounds we had already paid for their services before checking with colleagues to check it had been received which it had. So to summarise they will sell your house but they will charge you the earth for it and they may not make life as easy for you as they possibly could. Lee in the mortgages was however very helpful and informative.

Hi Brian, At the time of booking your viewing the property was still available. We had a lot of viewings booked on the property, including yourself. One of people that viewed before you applied for the property which is why we had to cancel your viewing. I wish you well with your search for a property.

GoogleIf I could give zero stars I would. I've had a few bad experiences with Reeds Rains since me and my partner have started looking to buy our first home. The warning signs were there when we turned up for a viewing on a property we ended up putting an offer in for and they got the wrong day. When we proceeded with the purchase the property was down-valued, I contacted them immediately to instruct the seller around 3pm on a Friday afternoon. They didn't until the following Monday. They can be really hard to get hold of and didn't seem interested in having the tough conversations with the seller. That sale fell through so we continued to look for other properties and saw two in a similar area. I rang yesterday morning to speak to a member of staff from the sales department. I rang at 10:15am, I was told she would call me back and yet again I've heard nothing. Without intending to sound dramatic, it feels like they are doing the opposite of trying to sell people's houses. As first-time buyers our experiences with Reeds Rains has slightly diminished our enthusiasm.

GoogleBeen trying to get a viewing on a property for six weeks now and still nothing been emailed them last Monday and the say the be in contact within 2 days still nothing the store is poorly run and they got no clue what to do, I know people who have been trying to sell there house for a year with and only had one viewing , all there bothered about is the fees what they get for been up for a long while

GooglePeople who want to rent a property should be careful. Agents and third parties will not actively handle the issue of deposit refunds and you will not be able to get back your deposit!!!

GoogleIf you are looking to rent a property from these people I would strongly suggest you reconsider!!!! 3 weeks in and my daughter has NO HEATING, NO HOT WATER, TWO LEAKS in the roof AND DAMP WALLS.... WAITED IN 4 TIMES FOR TRADESMAN FOR THEM NOT TO TURN UP.... this morning waited in 4 hours no explanation..... given the tradesman number to arrange alternative and NO ANSWER...CHOCK..... Complete wasters stay clear
