Have reported manager to property ombudsman. Bridgfords agreed a one percent sale fee to sell grandmothers property. The branch manager, Tammi Moulton, then completed the sale contract on our behalf, changing the fee to 'percentage of asking price' without consent - leading to an increase in fee by hundreds of pounds. This is, of course, unethical, illegal and we are challenging this. Add this to poor service, poor marketing of the property, and poor attitude of the staff members, in particular Tammi Moulton, and I don't think it is possible to find a worse estate agent in Staffordshire. Needless to say, I would avoid using.

GoogleHad a viewing with Brad today, he was absolutely amazing. He was professional but easy to talk to and he couldn't have been more helpful answering our questions. I felt confident that he would help us find the perfect house for us. I would definitely recommend this estate agents as I found they have been the most helpful of all the ones I've experienced.

GoogleSo impressed with the high level of service from both Sales and Lettings. All members of staff go above and beyond and make you feel valued. The sales team really do listen and take into account everything you are looking for from a property and make it their mission to hit the nail on the head! GoogleI can’t recommend Bridgfords enough! We recently purchased our new house with them and they made the whole process as stress free as possible throughout. Patricia was a star and kept in regular contact with us throughout the process, maintaining open lines of communication with all parties and answering any enquiries that we had in a timely manner. GoogleWe have had a great experience from Darcy and the team in the Newcastle branch looking after our rental property near Keele University. They managed a year of tenancy and now with equal support have really helped us to move our son into the property where the ownership will transfer to him. No problem for Darcy and the team, although no future need for tenancy support they have made every effort to help with the transfer, excellent! So comforting to have someone local and knowledgeable, we are neither! TrustpilotWell what I can say! SHOCKING SERVICE.
Well what I can say!! After 7 years we have had enough and made the decision to move after countless problems. I am now having to move away from the area I grew up in and also I have to let my pet dog go after all the problems and YES BRIDGFORDS YOU ARE TO BLAME!!!! When we moved into the property it was just about habitable, it should not of been presented in the way it was but we were desperate. Over the years we improved the property ourselves and made it a nice home and we genuinely felt at home. Problems included heating pump problems, shower problems, we were left without a gas hob for 6 weeks, had to live practically off ready meals. Roof leaks, boiler problems which take weeks or even months to resolve. The penultimate decision to move was made when we were left without heating over the Christmas period, the house ended up like an ice box to the extreme causing massive distress to us and our young children, but they just don't care, waiting days and days for quotes to be accepted. Money comes before Health and Safety with these guys and to top it off we are being harassed to arrange viewings for new tenants, absolute joke. Unlucky for them is that I know property law, probably better than them and I have the right to refuse access to them until tenancy agreement ends. No one from the agency has ever been out to inspect the property in 7 years but they are willing to show people around, for they all know the property could be trashed. Absolutely unprofessional, some staff should be nowhere near the business of real estate. I think they think that payment of rent is just for the property, its not you pay rent for a service to which you do not get! DO NOT RENT A PROPERTY FROM BRIDGFORDS. Its just a shame it has come to this but they are to BLAME FOR IT ALL!! SIMPLE. GOOD LUCK TO WHOEVER MOVES IN!!

Absolutely shocking , no chase ups , no progress or updates for my purchase, no follow up , consequently a £400 k purchase failing at the last minute , not qualified to sell houses correctly, , complete garbage im afraid , cost me thousands in abortive fees , totally lied to & lead down the garden path. A waste of 8 months of my life , totally in shock upset & devastated

Unfortunately, i read these reviews quite late and I am in agreement with all the negative opinions about Bridgfords Withington. We tried to buy a flat, but when we told them that we have our own mortgage advisor, the communication stopped. When we tried to get updates, they would try to discourage us to continue. They went on making an offer for our maximum budget, despite only having 1 additional buyer who offered 25k less than us. Dishonesty/ lack of transparency and totally unprofessionalism, especially Richard/ Hammad. I am happy I did not use their services, and I now select properties which are not in their portfolio. Quite sure the seller has received a lower offer as well, which is a shame as the flat was superb. Avoid!

GoogleGod awful. Cancelled 2 different property viewings without telling us, one of which wasted a 5 hour round trip. One of the properties, which we were not informed of during the initial inquiries has a tenant living in it - utterly useless as we're looking for a place to live in which Bridgford knew.

I had a list of questions and she answered them all in detail, she was so helpful! It’s a shame not everyone you speak to nowadays has that level of customer service! GoogleNothing but positive comments around Bridgfords and how great they have been with our whole house hunting experience. My partner and I are first time renters and Darcy was great. She explained everything we needed to know, she was happy to email us with information and kept us updated and worked around our requirements when going for viewings. Bridgfords were great when it came to helping set up our bills, contacting the landlord and going through contracts and inventory. I’d 100% recommend Bridgfords to friends & family.
