Dealt with Monika who always called back when she said, never lied to me and made me feel like a valued customer! after dealing with many other estate gents in the area i genuinely felt like giving up, none of them called me back, endless lies and what i would call criminal behaviour! well Monika completely changed that for me and was a breath of fresh air! GoogleCarter Jonas (and especially Fiona) have been so helpful and a dream to work with over the last few weeks as I've embarked on the challenge of letting my flat and moving to the other side of the world at the same time. They've been so helpful and responsive to all my questions and have gone out of their way to help manage a couple of things that would have been impossible to do by myself from so far away. Definitely feel I've made the right choice and looking relieved to know I've got someone I can trust looking after things.

GoogleMoving is such a stressful time and being a control freak and somebody who likes to forward plan it can be extra challenging. It wasn't all a smooth ride but we sold and bought via Cater Jonas and from start to finish it was an absolute pleasure working with Edward Westmacott, he was professional, and always made himself available (and I can be demanding!). He ensured that we were always updated with the latest position and most of all he always kept it real, no over promises, managing our expectations extremely well. If and when I move again without hesitation I will be heading straight for Ed/Cater Jonas HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them.

Terrible communication. Do not action what there customer has agreed with them. Do what they want to do after telling them and agreeing next steps. Really late at returning your deposits and holding on to your money. Lack of communication and waiting days if not weeks for responses. Always say call back and don't. If you have an issue with your property the emergency out of hours phone line will not answer there phones. Don't compensate you for having to leave the property due to flooding and boiler blowing up and having to stay in hotel. You may want to seek another estate agent.

Having used Carter Jonas for a few years renting out my property, I've now changed and would never go back to them. I've had poor service consistently especially when a tenant checks out. The diligence and attention is woefully lacking. Keys lost, damage not logged, poor check out service. Tradesmen hired that do a poor job and charge silly money for doing little. Poor monitoring of tenants. Seldom been happy and glad I've switched.

GoogleAll good until you sign the tenancy and release funds. Once that is done, the bullying and rudeness start. Everything will be charged for, constant communication from the office and their refusal to cooperate was very frustrating. The house I rented was in a very bad state. I had to get legal advise on how to deal with them and eventually had to involve the council. They start slacking the minute you have signed the contract. EVERY request has been an issue. Never again

GoogleThe process of getting me a house to rent was so nice and I am really happy with the place. I found few issues with things in the house provided by landlord when I came but they helped me really very quickly in resolving everything. The team was fast to get everything sorted and help. I am really impressed with the service Carter Jonas has provided me in last few months and I hope they will keep up the good work

GoogleRather disappointed with the service we are getting from Newbury branch since we moved out from rented houses where we stayed with them for 6 years. It took them nearly 5 weeks with very little communication during that time and myself chasing all the time(on the end I had to raise a formal dispute against Carter Joan to TDS) to come back to us about the deposit and it has been a week since they promised to return the deposit to our account, but nothing happened yet. They were good to deal with while we were paying them a rent, but it looks like now they don't care anymore as they had their money. Would not recommend.

Untrustworthy, lazy, never call back as promised and two weeks before our move into a rental property, having sold our house, our tenancy application was cancelled. We had agreed to pay a year up front, take the property as soon as it was available and met every demand such as the credit checks etc. But a worker in Carter Jonas decided not to try to make the deal go through for whatever undisclosed reasons she may have had. My advice would be if you want a roof over your head don’t go anywhere near Carter Jonas.
