I would love to say that "Tay Letting Edinburgh" team is very professional. I never had to wait for long for any response. They respond very quickly, specially Meaghan . They hear your issues. I also met Ben Once , he is also a very humble person. Although we had only 2 months of stay in a property they were managing , but everytime they are so quick to respond. As far as I know they list elite properties only so their properties will be little expensive. But on service side I was quite happy.

With it currently being incredibly competitive to secure a rental property in Edinburgh, we have dealt with many different estate agents in the past couple of months. And with there being more prospective tenants than properties available, we have definitely felt the lack of motivation for agents to keep in touch and work with us to find something suitable, because they just haven’t needed to. However, this was absolutely not the case with Tay lettings. We were first put in touch with Meaghan, who was very helpful and friendly, and she liaised with us from beginning to end. With other estate agents we dealt with multiple people who never knew who we were, so this 1:1 conversation was very refreshing. She was communicative and attentive throughout the entire process and we finally felt like someone cared about finding our family a new home. Meaghan, in particular, went above and beyond for us, even relaying key messages outside of her working hours. This was never asked or expected of her but she clearly just cared about us and cares about her job! Even now, after we have moved in and settled, Tay lettings continues to communicate quickly and effectively. They could not have done any more for us! Thank you very much, Meaghan and Tay Lettings!

Malcolm Pickard took on the management of a large property I own in Fife around 9 months ago. We are renovating the property and I am based overseas. Malcolm and team have gone the extra mile to both look after the property and project manage the renovations. Truly a professional services with a personal touch/attention to detail. The team own problems and get the job done, they are proactive in thinking what needs to be done, they manage contractors and service providers well to ensure quality work at a fair price. On the back of this excellent experience I have transferred 3 additional properties in Edinburgh to Tay Lettings East (after over 20 years with another agent) and look forward to working with them on these. Malcolm Pickard and his team took on board the management of our Edinburgh property after we had all sorts of issues with our existing management agent. Since then the difference has been like night and day. Our new agents, Tay Letting East, are responsive, engaged and finely attuned to our needs and concerns. It is a management and letting agent which offers a very personal touch. I particularly like Malcolm's engagement and enthusiasm; for him no problem is too small. Firstly, the staff were excellent during Tenancy and very responsive to any issues we had. However, it took a sour turn when moving out which was a shame. We were then told on checkout if we paid for the cleaners they used (£350) we would avoid any of our deposit being taken. They still charged us £500 of us for false claims and things not to do with us. Luckily got most of this back via a external dispute. So make sure if you move into a Tay flat you take photos and don't pay for cleaners on checkout.

Malcolm at Tay Letting was an incredible person to work with as my wife and I relocated overseas from the US to Edinburgh. He provided virtual tours (pre-COVID) and was accommodating to the finest detail of our being remote at the time. Whenever (in the rare occasions) there was an issue, he and the team were quick to be on-site and resolve it. Beyond Malcolm, the rest of the team at Tay Letting seemed efficient and professional. All in all, the Tay Letting team made a very stressful move overseas manageable and enjoyable. Tay Letting East took over the management of a property that I was renting in December 2017, and I continued to have dealings with them during my time as a tenant up until earlier this month when I left the flat after buying my own home. I have to say that I was most pleased with the firm and how they approached my tenancy whilst they were managing the property. Malcolm, who was my first port of call during this time, was a pleasure to confer with, and a great help when I required it, as were other members of the team that I liaised with, such as Lisa and Caitlin. If I had any issues, I could expect that action could be taken to address that concern, and I could trust that I would be treated fairly throughout. I would have no reservations about recommending Tay Letting East to either anyone looking to rent a home in Edinburgh or for any prospective or active landlord looking to let property in this region; they are an excellent firm, and I really appreciate their support whilst I rented out the flat that I made my home for the number of years that I did!
