GoogleIt'ss not the usual way of things, I suppose, that the buyer of a property is gushing with praise for the seller’s estate agent. After all, they’re on opposite sides of the deal, sort of. However, I’m about to break this custom. I’ve just bought a flat in New Malden and the most helpful provider of information throughout the process was, indeed, the seller’s estate agent. Take a bow, Justine Elton, of Groves Residential. Of course, Justine had to be up to speed mainly for the benefit of the seller, i.e. her client, but supplying me, the buyer, with timely and well-informed updates was a help to everyone involved. Every query I raised was answered promptly and constructively, allowing the process to tick along merrily. So, thanks, Justine. You made it much easier than expected. Warmest regards James

The Team provided an excellent supportive and professional service in the follow up weeks to completion. Niki was especially amazing, communicating with all parties at each stage and taking a pro -active approach to help sort any glitches along the way. Not only she is able to understand what you need and notice you the property option that herself also think good; she also spend time patiently walk along with us for the exceptional long journey. They found me a great tenant quickly and have handled everything so efficiently, keeping me updated along the way. GoogleThey are really helpful and willing to look into the matters, but I would have to say I am disappointed somehow. I rent a house which is totally refurbished, but there were a lot of problems found after I moved in. Starting with the leaking of washing machine, radiators and then discovered a serious drainage cycle problem causing the whole floor damped. It took me more than a month to get things proceeded and fixed. The communication is dreadful between the management team, but while efficient with others. Lot of slugs coming out and moving around. I asked to seal the holes and the gaps, but they only did that for the kitchen but not the living room. They said I have to wait for extra 10days or do it by myself. That is not the tenant’s responsibility at all. I feel ridiculous. Besides, there was some water leaking out from the gap of the shower unit door. They fixed for me but it is even worser than before, the gap totally is exposed now and now all the water is coming out when I bath. I am really speechless and I am so tired to talk to them again. It made me feel like I am problematic person because the management team is getting impatient with me.TBH, I think this is more the matter with the contractors. If the assigned contractors did the right job, found out the real water leakage problem, did better work on the woodwork corners and floor, used proper ways to repair, there won’t be so many issues happening.

Whether highly trained or not, I cannot comment. Highly motivated and willing to ‘go that extra mile’ on the other hand I have a plethora of experience to share of Laura’s commitment to this small family business and her clients. Laura not only held our hand through the process of becoming a landlord, but worked alongside our tenant, explaining every step of the way with clarity and confidence. No question was too silly, and every answer was considered. Laura took time to establish a relationship with ourselves before reassuring us that she would be able to support the establishment of a tenancy agreement which met all legal requirements. This may seem like a simple task to established and experienced landlords, but to novices, it is daunting. With Laura beside you, there is no need to worry. Following an exchange of emails and phone calls, in a short period Laura had extracted all necessary information from ourselves, and received signed documents from tenants with such efficiency, we were convinced something was amiss. Now several months into our tenancy agreement, we are certain that should Groves be able to retain the talents of Laura, we will seek her support directly for all related requests. Nothing short of an exceptionally dedicated team member and employee, but moreover, just a nice person to deal with. Thank you Laura.

GoogleGrooves have been our agent for the renting of our small portfolio for over 6 years and sold one premise last year. Both the sale and letting teams are most helpful and supportive. Communication throughout the sale process was excellent and updated every step of the way. The rents are collected and deposited in our account like clockwork, no ifs and no buts. Rent statements are issued on the due each month, and yearly statement each year. It is a rare commodity these days to find such a dynamic and professional team. They have a pragmatic approach to resolving problems. It is a pleasure to work with Grooves and will not hesitate to recommend Grooves to landlords, buyers, and sellers.

GoogleSuper smooth and easy experience with Groves when looking for a place to rent, they were helpful in finding somewhere for us with HMO and Olga who has been managing us through all the document signing has been incredibly helpful even getting a question around fibre installation answered from the landlord for us within the hour. The only downside I must mention is they are quite firm about not changing their standard tenancy agreement. All in all would highly recommend
