A cheating and dangerous auction agent. I bought a property in Blackpool in 2019. They advertised the property as a freehold worthed 10,000 at 75-77 Caunce Street, FY1 3NDI did not see legal pack properly and then ended up with the bills including their auctionee fee of 35,000 pounds.The nasty thing of the property I bought turned out a long leasehold 999 years and I have to pay rent, service charge etc and that is very surprising and dangerous .It caused and ruined my financial aspect and life. It took almost 4 years for years to repay the debt.I take them to the property authority but they did not do much. I intended to take them to the Court for misleading the public but have no money to pay legal fee.The authority should shut down this nasty auction agent. After you did so bad and dangerous things, karma will come back to you one day and let karma do all the work.

I used Barnard Marcus Redhill to sell a flat via the ‘I am sold’ auction site. BM initially got the lease period incorrect and even though they were told they still went to the market with this incorrect information . Throughout the auction process there was a disconnect with BM and I am sold auction house. I was advised that I should be chasing I am sold to see whether people who were interested had made contact. Very difficult to get hold of I am sold. We were then advised to reduce the asking price and the reserve which we did . We eventually held an auction but there were no bidders . We withdraw from the market and sacked I am sold and BM . They still continue to market my flat at the wrong price even though the auction period has lapsed and they have been dismissed. Do not use BM and I am sold, is my advice .

This company forces you to use their mortgage brokers service no matter what! More often than not they cant beat the deal you have and if you disagree with them they force you out! Please make sure you report them to trading standards as they have been getting away with it for years and enough is enough. I worked for them and could not believe what I experienced. I am in the process of speaking with Trading Standards and hopefully it looks like they are going to be investigated again. If we keep doing it eventually they will be fined or worse told to cease trading now that would be great!!

GoogleThis property is so rude and racist. I had an appointment to see the house at 11 a.m. As soon as the house came up on the site, I visited it twice and made a reservation. They said she would contact me the next day and didn't contact me. So I went there again. I said I wanted to see exactly the 4 bed houses I saw on the site. By the way, she asked me how much budget I had in mind that I didn't even know the house price? anyway I was on my way after waiting a week, and Suzanne Seeley Sequence, who works there, called me at 10:50 a.m. to cancel the appointment. I was already almost there. All she said was that I was sorry for just one phone call. I'm so angry that I've given up my time. And when she say that the house is only available at 11 p.m. on Saturday, and suddenly you say it's not available, you can't help but think that they're a racist. I have no choice but to think that I can't show because I'm Asian. The only time I can see the house is 11 p.m. on Saturday, and who suddenly signed the contract? And the house is still on the site. I can't stand these rude people.

GoogleHad an offer accepted on a house my partner and I fell in love with. We had sold our house to first time buyers. Barnard Marcus changed the status on Right Move to Sold STC and we were communicating with our broker and solicitors to exchange as quickly as possible. 10 days later Barnard Marcus called me to let me know they have to inform all potential buyers, BY LAW, who viewed the property that an offer has been agreed and that one buyer has made an offer higher than ours. This is disgusting gazumping tactics and they did not legally have to inform any potential buyers. They are talking nonsense, imagine another week down the line after we had paid solicitors. I would not recommend this estate agent and their dirty tactics just to squeeze an extra few hundred pound commission.

GoogleWe had two estate agents value our home, both gave us the same value. Decided on Barnard Marcus on personality and feeling that they would be working for us. A very justified decision. Kept us informed as to progress and used their connections to keep on top of what was happening down the chain. As Tom told us “only panic when I panic” and he never did. Always polite, always professional. Hopefully the staff enjoyed the home baked cheese scones.

I've been a single tenant since October 2023 and I've raised 2 simple requests to the letting agency since then without any feedback or resolution up to this date. They haven't provided a second set of keys as I asked to have a spare in case I have family visiting or for any emergency. They also haven't provided me the landlord details as I need to apply for visitor parking though the council and I can't do it without the landlord's information. It's absolutely unbelievable no one can help me with this for 4 months and I have no hope they will.

We helped move our son into a house managed by this crew… all smiles when they handed over the keys…. All downhill from there.1) toilet does not flush2) no heating3) disgusting mattress in one room 4) no hot water5) non- functioning shower but there is no hot water anyway.6) massive hole in wall behind washing machine So if you are a tenant be ware!!! And if you are a landlord…. Watch them like a hawk… your brand is being damaged.Get a grip people!!!

GoogleWell the whole team were magnificent, having initially signed up with an independent Agent, having signed up with the team at New Malden the flood gates opened, 13 viewings in the first couple of weeks, which produced our Buyer, the process took a little time but once we accepted the offer it was all systems go.
