After the post stamp duty holiday finished there was a period when the market in Hythe drastically slowed down. Hythe and Waterside (H&W) were very alert to the situation and kept in touch with their clients which was reassuring for us. Eventually a property that matched our requirements came on the market and we had a very quick response from H&W, we viewed it, liked it and made an offer that was accepted. During the long waiting process of getting the legal requirements in place H&W kept us informed of the position by liaising with all parties involved which we appreciated. Finally a sigh of relief as we have exchange contracts and I think we can thank H&W for pushing this through. H&W's overall performance was very professional and give 100%. The H&W Sales Team also have a good sense of humour, something needed in this particular business sector.

After losing our father in the first lock down to covid 19 the daunting task to market his well-loved home was put into the hands of Wayne and Joe at Hythe Waterside from the start we had no pressure to market his home immediately only asked to keep them updated, when we eventually put the property on the market Wayne and joe were professional throughout keeping us updated on viewings and on feedback securing an offer and guiding us through the sales process, no questions unanswered and more than happy to help where they could. GoogleWell I did email to register with them as I'm looking for accommodation but been nearly two weeks and no reply from them. Funny thing is I'm not surprised as it seems to be the normal with letting agents nowadays.
The Lettings industry has been challenging since COVID and now the living crisis, the Government are taxing landlords on all fronts and many are leaving the industry, which is pushing prices up. Trust you did find a property 😊 …
