GoogleFrom the first meeting it was obvious that Peter Joy Estate Agents fully understood the local market and gave a very professional approach to the request to sell my house, so I had no hesitation in engaging them as the sole agent. The sale details were quickly and accurately prepared to show the house off to its full potential and as soon as they were released, enquiries rapidly followed. I was suprised at the level of response and the number of viewings that were arranged. I was updated on when all the viewings were taking place on a daily basis, sometimes more than once daily. After each viewing I was immediately advised on the feedback from the clients and could not have asked for any better service. After one week and at least 20 viewings there were several bids around the guide price and three days later the house was sold, subject to contract, to a chain free buyer. I have no hesitation in recomending Peter Joy Estate Agents to anyone wishing to buy or sell a property in the Nailsworth or Stroud area.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleI chose Peter Joy in Nailsworth largely on personal recommendation. They have transformed my previously rather negative experience of estate agents into an extremely pleasant and positive experience, both from the personal and the business points of view. Every member of staff has been knowledgeable, professional, friendly and thorough, with excellent communication, whether simply taking messages or handling tricky negotiations. From first valuation discussion with Jake (Manager) and ongoing sales management, through office coordination with Rachel, viewings with Alison and Katie and experienced client liaison and sales negotiating consultant Clare - all offer their highly experienced and individual skills in a friendly yet thoroughly professional manner. They clearly work well as a team with everyone kept informed so that anyone can immediately respond knowledgeably to queries or requests for information. Highly recommended.

The team have been with me every step of the way, going above and beyond expectations. I can't honestly thank them enough - Jake, Clare, Katie and the rest of the team have restored my faith in a few dark months of house hunting, their communication was excellent and they're all just a bunch of really nice people! They have a great understanding of the market and make a real effort to understand what you require from them, as well as helping you to understand each part of the process fully. Not only did we receive fantastic support throughout the process of our sale, but we were given the best advice and guidance with our purchase. The whole team worked tirelessly to get everything sorted; fighting a number of small fires along the way! A special thanks must go to Jake who, much to our dismay, was replying to emails late on Sunday evenings and making phone calls to us during his out of office hours. They also look after the tenants, dealing with their queries promptly whilst keeping me fully informed. PJ have given honest and helpful advice. After dealing with agents in other areas, I can say that Peter Joy have set the gold standard, they are better than 5 stars.

With us being 350 miles away they were a godsend, helping by checking the property, acting as a drop off point for various items and generally doing whatever they could to make our lives easier. On top of that they always kept us up to date and did what they promised. Their advice, marketing materials and management of the sale was fantastic. A friendly, approachable and professional bunch of people that kept up their enthusiasm throughout the process which turned out to be lengthy through no fault of theirs.

From our first viewings to then deciding to put both our houses on the market, we felt supported by a team that took the trouble to both understand the type of property we were after and offer expert guidance on how to attract the right buyers for our existing properties. When we were viewing properties the Peter Joy team were all knowledgeable and guiding without ever being 'pushy'. When it came to selling we felt they understood our properties and gave great advice throughout. Every member of staff has been proactive and courteous in their communications, offering a professional service that we'd be happy to recommend to anyone.
