GoogleI rarely write reviews but just wanted to warn others of the poor service from this company. The initial service was good but unfortunately the owner of this independant estate agents seems to do all the calls & negotiations and he fails to deal with issues and return phone calls which causes unnecessary distress & considerable inconvenience. The female staff are very helpful but seemingly powerless as all communications must go through the owner which is where they seem to end. Not even a bottle of wine or card left - all in all very poor.
Admittedly no bottle of wine but we did pay for the expensive Smeg fridge that the previous owner of the house wouldn't include so that the deal could proceed. At least you have somewhere to put your wine!

They did an excellent job on both fronts, really kept the communication flowing, offered fabulous advice and were generally a pleasure to deal with. And, we got a great price for our sale. GoogleI have used Hensons for many years to let property and have always found them to be very professional and friendly. They have always found a tenant for our property and conducted the checks etc in a very timely way. The charges are very reasonable too. I can highly recommend them if looking to let propertty.

GoogleThis company doesn’t deserve any stars, they are unprofessional and their customer service is the worst I have ever come across. They are quick to take your money and run. I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life. Stay away if you want to save yourself months off absolute hell, which we went through with hensons. Companies like these shouldn’t be aloud to be in business.
We are very sorry that you have chosen to give as a poor review especially after we went to so much effort to help you remain in your rented property but sadly when rent is not paid for months then landlords are entitled to take the due legal steps and we suppose the agent gets blamed.

GoogleSorry to say that I have had a poor service. The tennants deposit that was held by them from 2006 is not being paid back to the tenant on the sale of the property. This is causing great stress to the tenant.
Sally, we are very sorry to read your comment. As has been explained to you, you managed the Let yourself and the deposit was released to you in 2006 directly by the seller’s solicitors when you bought the house through us. That same tenant justifiably now wishes you to return her deposit after having us sell the house for you and so end her tenure. We have never held the deposit, you have, a point that the previous owner is willing to corroborate. Deposits are mandatorily protected these days but that was not the case when the lady in question moved in. In those days deposits were released at the time of execution of a tenancy to landlords to be held by them, in this case you.

GoogleVery poor service on lettings side slow to respond to questions and questionable practises just to view a house
Sorry you found things werent to your liking but in the height of a pandemic merely qualifying prospective tenants before arranging viewings was a sensible and quite normal practice protecting all concerned given the number of people we were likely to be exposed to. Some agents were actually taking deposits before allowing viewings, we were not. By comparison, a number of large, high end car showrooms had virtually no staff available to be reactive and would only do online sales so by comparison we were much more effective than say an experience we had at BMW!
