Moving from London back to Leeds after 13 years has been a tremendously challenging transition. Thankfully I found my property with Dan Pearce leggings, specifically with Lettings Manager Tanya Brocksom. Not only was Tanya knowledgeable and personable throughout the process; but when my moving day turned upside down, Tanya went above and beyond, personally delivering they keys at my new property after hours (with her lovely daughter in tow!!) What a company.we couldnt have asked for any more.All the team were more than helpful.especially Dom Hall.we had lots of viewings which they aranged the appointments and kept us informed if appointments had cancelled or were running late..the photos and discription of property Was spot on ,thats why it only took arround 2 weeks to sell. The DPSH team sold my property within 24 hours, keeping me fully informed of progress at every single stage of the process. From the initial valuation and photos through to completion I cannot thank the team enough. A truly professional, energetic and dynamic service throughout, taking the stress and hassle away from what can be a very daunting experience. I’d like to personally thank Dom (The Sledge Hammer) for his support, nothing was too much effort. Dom acted as mediator between all parties chasing updates and progress between solicitors, keeping me and my buyer engaged and even helped with my onwards purchase. We approached Dan Pearce and Tanya to help with our rental after reading other positive landlord reviews. Tanya quickly laid out the process with lots of details and costs, which provided good value. As soon as we needed to discuss further, Tanya was on hand with advice and quickly answered any questions. The service provided everything we required and quickly found us lots of good options for new tenants. The hardest part was deciding who to enter contract with. I put my house on the market just before lockdown. DPSH quickly found me a buyer who unfortunately pulled out due to the pandemic. Charlotte and the rest of the team kept in regular contact and assured me they would find another buyer as soon as restriction easing would allow. They did just that and only a few weeks after viewings were allowed the sale had completed. I found the whole process from Valuation with Danny through to the administration of the sale with Charlotte really smooth and always felt like the team at DPSH were on top of things, knowledgable and importantly kept me up to speed. From the start when Danny came out to value my house I felt comfortable, very down to earth but very professional. I had quite a few viewings and the communication between the guys at Dan Pearce office was really good. When I accepted an offer and put in an offer for a house I wanted Charlotte was amazing she talked me through step by step what was going to happen and was totally on the ball. When I was stressing about my not so good firm of solicitors Charlotte tried putting me at ease and would try and get to the bottom of issues, not once did I feel like I was pestering the guys in the office. The whole team in the Morley office of Dan Pearce are professional, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It made a refreshing change to have cheerful customer service especially at this time of the pandemic and in this day and age when the personal touch of Customer service is missing from many companies. This is our 2nd time using DPSH. We were pleased with the valuation, viewings & offer negotiation process, however, after that I cant lie, there were some issues with communication & quality of service that made us seriously question our choice of agent. Once Charlotte took over handling our case, things definately took a turn for the better. Ours was a long chain with many problems but Charlotte kept in touch & liaised with everyone else in the chain so she knew where everyone was. On the day of completion, further delays by the legal teams meant we could have been homeless for the weekend but Charlotte personally arranged for our purchasers solicitors to stay after normal closing & for us to pick up our keys at the home of the estate agent, ensuring we were in on friday, albeit at 6:30pm! Overall we were mostly happy with the service received from DPSH and would recommend them. The quality of the photos taken of our house were really impressive and it was on the market quickly. The team are knowledgeable and gave open and honest advice, Danny Mirfin was really helpful from the initial evaluation and even gave us some advice re our onward purchase which was not in the Leeds area. The team were also really helpful in completing viewings for us when we were unable to- special thanks to Kyle for this. Once we had sold we received an excellent service from Charlotte who really did go above and beyond to try and move our sale along as quickly as possible, this included numerous conversations with our buyer and our solicitors, she remained calm and professional throughout despite our numerous phone calls and emails asking for help- huge thanks to Charlotte for all of her support as I really don't think our sale would have gone through when it did without her! One thing that is slightly frustrating is that we would often get multiple calls from different people in the office asking the same thing, or if we called with a message for a particular person in the office it sometimes wasn't passed on which meant we had to repeat ourselves quite a lot. However this did seem to improve as time went on so hopefully it's being worked on. Overall a good estate agents!
