We have used Distinct Property consultants for selling our property as well as managing some of the properties in our portfolio over the last few years. We enjoy the working relationship we have with them which is based on a sound knowledge of and a totally professional approach in all matters PROPERTY. They are easy to communicate with and always respond in a timely manner. Over the years that we have been dealing with them, we can easily say that we can trust them 100% with all our property sale, purchase and management requirements, while relaxing that it is in good hands.

Avoid this company. We have received a very poor and unprofessional experience. We have found the staff to be rude, sarcastic and unprofessional, with very poor communication. A summary of our experience, as two professionals looking for a rental property (our first time, as previously we have both been property owners) is as follows: 1. A lack of available viewing appointments for 2 weeks. 2. No records kept of our information resulting in being called back repeatedly at point of offer to ask for information we had already given. 3. A general lack of communication as to how to proceed with an application. We had to chase the office to find out how the application was proceeding and were only asked after 3 days of our initial offer to fill in a full application form together with ID etc. Even then, this was only because we chased to find out what was happening. 4. A further lack of response to the application and the necessity to constantly chase. The conversations were unpleasant due to the rude and unhelpful abruptness of the staff. 5. No transparency regarding other applications in play and an unprofessional approach to offers e.g no communication, opportunity or timescales set out to give a best and final offer. Ultimately resulting in lost revenue for the landlord. We have been left feeling that the whole experience has been unfair, disorganised and underhand, and believe the landlord has missed out on potential revenue as a result. Please consider carefully before trusting these people with your property sale or investment.

I feel Distinct work for both landlord and tenant equally. They are professional and fast, quick to respond, quick to get properties on the market and viewings going, quick to find tenants. They are also good on advice, it’s always possible to have a discussion with them and get their guidance and opinion. We recently sold our house with distinct property consultants and not only did they offer excellent service finding a buyer for our property but once they did they followed through offering excellent communication between our solicitors and our buyers solicitor and keeping all party’s happy and informed. I think this estate agents really goes the extra mile and gives a personal touch making you feel like a valued costumer and that your sale is import to them. I must also add they were able to find a buyer for our property, we originally had our property on the market with two other agents before changing to distinct and I believe there excellent advertisement and passion to sell our house found us a buyer when other agents couldn’t. If I was to ever need an estate agent or be asked to recommend one I would without a doubt go for distinct property consultants.
