GoogleI am sure that landlords will be happy with the service but I was a tenant who moved out nearly 4 weeks ago because the landlord decided to sell. My experience has been very mixed. I have had visits from the agent and contractors alike who have left my home unsecured, I have had refusal from the landlord to carry out works (to rotten windows and repairs to a ceiling following a leak), and finally I am still awaiting a payout for central heating oil left in the tank. Excuse after excuse. I’m fed up of the apologies but still no resolution. This was my HOME. Have some respect.
We are very sorry to hear how you feel. We believe we addressed your concerns and we dealt with the issue where the contractor has been concerned. The landlord has always approved maintenance and always dealt with any enquiries promptly. We understand that the negotiations about your request to pay for unsused oil have taken a bit longer as your move fell into Christmas period and the landlord lives abroad and calculating it wasn't as straighforward due to the issues with gauge but matters were resolved. We appreciate it is always upsetting when the possession by the landlord is required and appreciate your frustration.

GoogleFrom the moment me and my partner came for a viewing, Sue and her team were of great help. We loved the property and wanted to apply straight away after the viewing, so Sue arranged for us to go to their office and sign any neccesary documents, which made the process very quick and easy. Once we went through referencing and were successful, Emily and Sue made sure we receive all documents, and it all got done very efficiently and hassle free. We loved working with them and would recommend their services to anyone in the Cotswolds! :)

GoogleAfter having a very bad experience with another Estate Agent, I called Distinct Property Consultants, an appointment was made and we signed the contract which was very straight forward. Photographs were taken, Sarka Wilde then had them re-taken as she wasn't very happy with them. Everything was very straight forward, we had updates on appointments, clients feedback. Distinct Property listen to what the buyers and sellers want and matches them accordingly. Then that day came and we had a buyer. This took approximately 6 weeks, considering I was with the last Estate Agent for over a year. Distinct Property Consultants are very professional at all times. Easy to liase with. I would recommend them to everyone.

I didn’t feel rushed with the viewings and even when things weren’t going so smoothly with my sale, I was kept well informed in regard to the purchase. Even though the house had been empty a year, it was also lovely to arrive to a warm house.

She was incredibly knowledgeable and had a wonderful balance of friendliness and professionalism and was utterly charming - a real asset to her profession. I have bought and sold properties all my life and I cannot rate her and her company highly enough. If only all Estate Agents were like her and had her genuine passion.

Despite the most difficult of times, Sarka and the team were able to continue to carry out viewings and were always contactable. On that note, we found the communication to be excellent throughout the sale. We also rented the property out with Distinct, which was also very straightforward for us. GoogleSarka was really amazing in securing property to rent. It's always a worry but highly professional consultants and I would urge anyone to look through the reviews. Any questions I had was answered and even at times over the weekend too. Moving can be stressful and worrying about agreements to be signed was a straight forward step. I always try looking around but it's sometimes easier to just pick up the phone and call. I am very happy with my agreement and look forward to staying in my new home.

GoogleAmazing. The selling experience that Sarka and her team provide is outstanding. Took all the effort and concern away from us, managed the prospective buyers and really pushed to achieve the best price. After agreeing the sale, the process continued to be first class with solicitors being chased up on our behalf and the pressure was kept on to exchange. I have already recommended them to other sellers.

GoogleFor several months I spent my days on websites like zoopla, rightmove and I was very frustrated every time I went to see a property, finding it much different from descriptions and with agents just pushing for the affair. At first it was all about the properties they had available but it soon became apparent that the real benefit to using their services was Victoria. She guided me through the process, communicated very clearly on next steps and checked in throughout with updates. Everything you need when taking on a new place. The team at Distinct Property Consultants is personable, pragmatic and very efficient. They gave us great advice on how to best present our flat for renting. They use great photos, plans and 3D walk-through videos to market the flat well. That means they quickly find us tenants. They handle all the paperwork from obtain references to preparing the agreements and keep us informed every step of the way. They have a great “black book” of contractors which means that any issues that arise can be dealt with swiftly. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they are easy to reach and communicate with. Highly recommended.
