I have just sold my Mum’s house using Manning Stainton in Morley. I used them in 2025 to buy my current house and was very impressed by them. Megan Hirst, their Move Manager is brilliant. She kept me regularly informed and updated throughout the transaction. Nothing was too much trouble for her. I cannot recommend this Company enough for either buying, selling or both. We were placed under the care of Megan Hirst who is a moving manager for Manning Stainton during the purchase of our house and we would happily deal with them again! Megan phoned pretty much weekly which is brilliant when you are purchasing a house, as it's all you can think about. Megan let us know what stage the solicitors were at before we even knew what was going on! Thank you to all the team at Manning Stainton who helped organise viewings and opening the house, and thank you to Megan Hirst who made the whole process seem effortless!

Unfortunately, our tenant failed to pay rent, which led us to instruct solicitors to resolve the matter. Although the tenant has now vacated the property, they left the house in a truly appalling condition, one which was deeply distressing to deal with. Throughout this entire ordeal, our property management agent, Nicky Scales, has been nothing short of wonderful. Alice was responsive and helpful within a reasonable timescale and we were happy with the service she provided. We did however have trouble getting information and responses from Charlie. This may have been affected by him taking holiday. We would have expected the transfer of responsibilities to have been more effective. Unfortunately, the situation prior to Charlie’s involvement was made more difficult by inadequate or confused communication from Katelan. Getting all involved to communicate in all correspondence to my son, the owner Liam Whittington , myself and my wife, Maria Tighe has proved very difficult despite numerous requests. As Liam lives abroad, and we take on landlord operational responsibilities, this is essential. A simple central record with our details accessible to anyone involved in your responsibilities would appear to be beyond your organisation. The three star rating is generous given the above, but is given with an expectation of an improved service in the future.

From start to finish we had an excellent experience from Manning Stainton Wetherby. Louise valued the property perfectly and marketed it superbly. The photos and the listings looked fantastic. We were delighted to be able to accept an offer within three days of it going live on Rightmove. The process after offer acceptance was fantastic. Sara Wilson our move manager was incredible. She had a huge task chasing a tricky chain and did a remarkable job. She kept us updated at every stage and was a reassuring presence for us. The process from offer to completion was done in just over 3 months which was excellent. Can’t recommend them highly enough. A real premium service with really great staff.

Lesley was very good at keeping us up to date on all aspects of our move. Ben was our initial contact and made us feel well taken care of with regards to the process and the confidence we would have in using Manning Stainton and the full team have lived up to that. Ellie Garside was our sales representative and really pulled it out of the bag in being able to get the property on line, keeping us informed of it's status and getting in viewings super quick. This has really hassle free process and we are grateful for the attentive care.
