Never let them manage your contarct

We used Seymours as a letting and management agency for our house while we were abroad. They did a good job on the letting side but were absolutely useless as management agents. I would never get them to manage anything for me again. As an example, the first email contact I had with them described a house I struggled to recognise as they had designated various rooms to uses with which we were not familiar.

Don’t rent from this state the pull out last second

Worst estate ever!, They gave us a house to rent, we payed the deposit we payed not only the rent but also the deposit to secure the house, done all the applications and last minute they go the landlord hasn’t signed anything and wants more rent last minute!! The day before the key had to be handed it we where ready with all the moving in stuff and people which WE payed for and this is how they’re treating us never rent from them!, they didn’t even bother fighting and helping us with the situation we’re in

I have rented with Seymours for the past 2 years and also recently purchased my first home with them, dealt with the Dorking branch for both. I have only ever experienced high customer service, prompt responses and always felt like they have gone the extra mile in both renting and buying a property. Fantastic agents (which usually have a bad reputation as I have had my fair share through renting in London) but Seymours were 10/10 throughout my experiences. Thank you to Becky and Tim for rent and Emma and David for buying. Highly recommend!!

Very prompt preparation for sale (photos, description etc)Very quick sale. Best & finals after first weekend realised an offer nearly 8% over asking price. Great cash buyer ready to move. Really active “sales processing” to interface between buyer and seller. Jenny was unflappable, despite a spot of diva stuff from our buyers solicitor. Helped bring it to conclusion in time for when we needed the money.

Wanted to write a short review to say how excellent David and his team (notably Emma, Robbie, Rachel and Penny) were over the sale of my parents house in Dorking in early 2023. From the first moment David visited to discuss the market potential, he was extremely engaging and clearly knew his stuff. During the sale his entire team were responsive and I know they worked very hard with the viewings to give a great and sympathetic representation of a home that had been in our family for 40+ years. David also gave me some useful local reliable names for gardening work and other things, which was a huge benefit. Probably most relevantly is that David (within a handful of weeks) had identified what he thought would be the perfect buyers, and he was 100% accurate - he matched them to the house, they loved it and I hope they will have a long and happy family life there. I had a very long and very complicated sale of my leasehold flat but Robbie and his team at Seymours where just outstanding. From the start they were very professional, getting all the agents round to my flat before it went on the market to make sure they had all the information to do viewings (not like a lot of agents!). Robbie went above and beyond what you would expect from an agent. Excellent communication throughout the process and after a year and 4 months they didn’t fault or give up on me! Sold in a short time and was fairly painless

With their wealth of experience Seymour’s gave good advice and tried to make the whole process of selling our house as painless as possible over the shortest possible time. We read that on average it tasks 19 viewing before you might get an offer - in the space of about 2 weeks we had about 25 viewing before the offer that lead to sold stc. Which we were pleased with in the current housing market. Jeff and team were punctual and courteous and let us know if there were any changes to viewing. I guess I was expecting more feedback for each of the viewing but I understand that if people are not interested for whatever reason there is not much you can do about it - so just move on.

We felt very supported by the Seymours team throughout the whole process of buying our first house. They showed us multiple listings we’d seen online, but it was one of the agents, Anthony, who recommended us to look at a property we thought was out of reach, which ended up being the absolute perfect fit - we’re so pleased we took his advice and gave it a shot! Seymours Horsell Are Simply The Best!

Seymour’s have been outstanding in helping us secure an offer on our first home, we received a call from Seymour’s within 30 minutes of us sending in our enquiry through via Rightmove, a viewing was arranged for the next Tuesday. On the day of the viewing the agent was prompt and on time and it was clear that he knew the property as he was well informed and able to provide us with plenty of info as well as answer any questions we had. The experience was very pleasant and we loved the property. We called Sarah to put an offer in first thing in the morning. Sarah was always friendly, polite, professional and calm.
