Very happy!!

I will be perfectly honest until recently I had never heard of fine and country. Suddenly across my village and the neighbouring one, we had fine and country sale boards popping up everywhere. All with sold signs attached.I decided to give themA call for a valuation. I was over moon with the result. Debbie from the heswall branch is my agent. She had an sstc for me in 6 days! Debbie is not your usual estate agent. I have sold 11 properties so far and have never met an agent like her. I am currently struggling to buy in my area, struggling to find the right house, struggling to get agents to call me back, and to put offers forward on properties that are of interest. Debbie is like a breath of fresh air. She is contactable 7 days a a week day or night. No office hours!.she is honest and very reliable. You get what you pay for and her service is worth every penny. I would highly recommend Debbie and her heswall office. Paul

Excellent agent, clear instructions and friendly people. It was one of two estate agents who let us view a house we liked before even putting our house on the market, unlike other agents who would not allow that. Theirs was the first house we viewed and we knew immediately that it was it! Just perfect for us. They helped us to keep in touch with vendor via email without fail. I would recommend them.

We decided to put our house for sale with F & C after we considered their valuation the best compared to others. We dealt with Liz and Nicola and can’t sing their praises enough. They are both professional and courteous and went the extra mile to ensure our house was marketed correctly. They lined up an open day on a Saturday and the house had sold by the Monday. Don’t use this company …

Asked for an evaluation and the person scheduled, who I understood to be the valuer, didn’t turn up. The lady who did stated that as my neighbours had sold for £255k and we didn’t have an extension we should market it for £250k. I pointed out that they bought 3 years ago and I have had a valuation for £325k since then. She advised that she was not the actual valuer and would go back to the office and discuss and call me back. Five days later and nothing!! No way has this place dropped £75k. It was almost as though a figure was plucked out of the air. Similar properties locally are all on for over £280k Shocking waste of my time

Be warned of Colchester Branch

Please be warned about the Colchester branch. I signed the contract, but had a fourteen day cooling off period to exercise. I was ask to pay £360 upfront, no other agent asked for this. The branch compiled the property details using the previous details from when I purchased the property, so they were totally incorrect. No mention of all the £100,000 updating I had done. They then took photos which were unusable. Sunlight blocking the property, all family photos unobscured, mirror reflections, cupboard door handles sticking out at the side of shots. I could had done better myself with my iPhone. Withdrew from the contract after five days but they refuse to refund my money, so I have paid for horrific photos. Be warned!

Tania at F&C in Diss was awful on the four houses we went and viewed with her. She put a downer on all of the houses we looked at and pointed out all of the negatives of the property with hardly any facts. I would never put my own property on the market with F&C due to our experience with her so have a negative view of this estate agents. Name of company is overrated.

Marie was the estate agent for the house we recently bought. She was extremely knowledgeable of the whole process and very involved with our chain through to completion responding to messages at all times of the day. She went above and beyond and was very proactive in ensuring we were very comfortable with our house purchase both pre-sales and after-sales. Amazing service

Buying a house from overseas (without seeing it due to Covid) was rather stressful! Whilst some agents - perhaps not surprisingly- thought we weren’t serious buyers, Arma was the opposite.
