If only there were more stars to give! From the moment we made an offer on our dream home Claire has helped support us on every step of our journey. Would give even fewer stars if I could. Made an enquiry about a house - and the agent couldn't answer even basic questions about it. The floorplan was also clearly wrong. Agent requested we put questions in writing - which we did - and promised to get back to us after the weekend. A week later, no response at all. Ended up calling them, at which point they blamed the vendor for not wanting to answer any questions (?!!) and said they had quite some interest already. When asked outright if they were even interested in a cash offer from us - they mumbled that (in 3 days they had been showing it) they already had potential offers. If I was this vendor I would be furious if potential cash buyers had been fobbed off in this way. Appalling agent - will never use them.

We initially marketed our property through another national agent, with little success. On relaunch, following the first lockdown, we opted for F&C, who had a far more proactive approach, particularly once Mike Warren got involved. We certainly felt that he was following through thoroughly with every potential buyer, ending, ultimately, with a successful sale.Like all home owners signing up with an agent, it seems like a lot of money being committed. In our case, I believe F&C earned their keep!Well done!

What can we say?! Our experience with F&C has been first-rate from start to finish. Graham knew the type of property we were looking for (we had pretty specific hopes for what we'd like to find), and he gave us the heads-up of a place before it came to the open market so we could have a cheeky peek before anyone else. We fell in love with it and even though it did go to the open market, we were successful in our offer. It's amazed us that the process from our offer being accepted, to our exchange of contracts took only four weeks! <3 We know that having Graham in our corner helped the process no-end with communication between us, our sellers and both solicitors. All the recommended service providers from their little black book have been superb too. We made it clear we hoped for a stress-free transaction with a sense of ease and transparency and that's exactly how our experience has been. We're so grateful for the personal and dedicated service we received through every step of buying our home.

Bad experience so far. Called the Huddersfield office on the morning the property was listed. Was told they would get back to me. Chased up daily since and every time have been told someone would check for available times. Last time I spoke to someone I was told the next viewing was 3 weeks away and earlier viewings had been booked up. Feels like they are selecting who can and can't view the property

Top Marks!We have just completed a fairly stressful house sale using F&C as our agents. The end-to-end service F&C was just great. The brochure was fantastic. Communication at all of the stages was regular, friendly, supportive and very patient! This was no mean achievement given the backcloth of COVID and lock-down and the sheer volume of work caused by the Stamp Duty holiday. Tristan in Colchester F&C was superb throughout the sale of our Suffolk property. Even our purchasers were complementary about his work and demeanour. We have bought and sold aprox 5 times in the past 20 Yrs and he is the best Estate Agent we have ever had dealings with. Basically, all the service level promises he made when pitching for the agency he delivered on eg feedback from every viewing, only sending credible viewers not time wasters, and he assisted the speed of a 10 week from viewing to completion turn-around of a complicated sale which might not have completed otherwise. If you don’t use him you’ll be sorry.

I used an alternative estate agent to sell my property and had viewed a new home marketed by fine & country. During the months waiting to sell my house the staff at F&C (Willerby, East Yorkshire) gave me advice about improving potential buyers even though they were not my agents. Whilst waiting to sell the staff kept me informed of the house I wanted to buy. When I was in a position to buy the home from them they were as excited as I was that I was finally able to put in an offer. Even though I did not buy the house in the end, fine & country were brilliant support. If I sell in the future I would definitely use you to sell my home and I will recommend you to anyone who is thinking about selling their home. Thank you 😊 xx

F&C sent me a speculative article and compliments slip a couple of months ago as our property was not selling.August 3rd I went on their website, and decided to request a virtual valuation. I uploaded 13 videos that I had made of my property. All appointments for that day were greyed out. So I chose 3 times on the 4th. I received an automated confirmation email of my request and that a member of their staff would contact me to confirm date and time. Nothing.7th August - I replied to their email (southessex at fineandcountry dot com) saying what I wanted to discuss.11th August (today) - still NOTHING.They are clearly not interested in any business!!!
