GoogleThe Mitcham team has recently helped us sell our flat and were exceptional. We had tried to sell our flat in 2020 with another estate agent in the area who had failed to get more than 5 viewings in 4+ months. The Barnard Marcus team got us 10 viewings and an offer we accepted within 2 weeks after a successful open house. They were responsive, high-energy, honest and wonderful people to work with.

GoogleI'm trying to view one property from last 10 days. My first appointment was cancelled as the agents after booking me 4 days earlier said that they don't have keys for the property yet. Following week after few calls that no one ever called back I've managed to book viewing for another Saturday 12.30. Today it's a viewing day 11.55 . I called 2 times already asking for exact addresses and trying to confirm. I was told each time someone will call me back. When I called 3rd time at 12.10... no answer. BUNCH OF AMATEURS AND IGNORANTSNegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleThis estate agency is an absolute joke, I think I've never dealed with so incompetent and rude people, and I am not talking only about estate agencies, SHOCKING service. They promised to call me back over TEN times, and it never happened, when I managed to arrange viewings they cancelled all of them last minute giving some ridiculous excuses, when I already took time off at work. 5 stars reviews from new Google accounts (with 1 or two reviews), interesting.. If you want to sell your property, I would not advise to use this agency, it is a nightmare to potential buyers.

GoogleI sold my flat through Barnard Marcus in Mitcham. My agent was Dagmara Madej she is throughly professional and responded to my calls and emails immediately. I never had to wait long for a response even if she was busy, I would always be acknowledged. Dagmara achieved my asking price where other agents were sceptical it could be achieved. Dagmara shows empathy and understanding of your situation and is a credit to her profession.

GoogleWe were fed misinformation (lies) from these estate agents from the start; regarding works that were due to be carried out on the property. However, the sale was finally completed and the property became ours. Just one problem though; these estate agents, Barnard Marcus Mitcham, have LOST the keys to the property we now own, denying us access to it. They neglected to inform us of this until the day that we were supposed to get the keys (The day of writing this review). The whole day, we were phoning them and being told that they'd get back to us but after hours of hearing nothing from them, we had to go down to the office and refuse to leave until they gave us access to the house that they just sold us. No individual at the office wanted to take any responsibility, and just kept making excuses, and no managers could be contacted. Thankfully we have people who would let us stay with them, otherwise we would be homeless right now, locked out of the property that we just bought. A "spare" key is being shipped to us from the previous owner of the property. As to whether there should even have been a spare set of keys to the property that we were previously not made aware of is also questionable. Nobody knows where the missing set of keys are. These estate agents have genuinely lost them. This level of incompetence is truly outstanding and these estate agents should be avoided at all costs.

GoogleBought a house which was being marketed by Barnard Marcus Mitcham branch. Overall, satisfied with the experience. We dealt mainly with Olu who was very helpful. Commendation must go out to Michelle Faulkner who is the sales progression manager at Barnard Marcus and who worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth and speedy completion. She was a very good point of contact and effectively chased and managed the solicitors on both sides.

GoogleWish I could’ve given 0. The manager talks a great talk but once the contract was signed they were nowhere to be seen. Full of excuses. Will never use them again. Avoid if possible
