Honestly, it's best to avoid this letting agency. Admin staff are very rude and unprofessional. Can't count how many times they hung up the phone on my husband and to make matters worse, lied that I've signed the contract so my husband would sign but we had to go through the contract properly before signing. Yes, we lost the deposit fee but that is much better than dealing with their very unprofessional attitude. I sent in employers ref and Landlord's ref which were successful, right to rent code was outstanding but I informed them regarding when my right to rent code would be available and they sent the contract the following day as a 'gesture' according to them but when we complained via email about the contract which had incorrect names and sections which contradicts the responsibilities of the Landlord according to England's laws he called my husband instead of responding to the email, shouted at him, angrily told him we failed referencing and hung up on him. They've contacted me to say the review is defamatory but everything stated here is absolutely true and now they've said is fraudulent. My complaint is about the way we were treated. Honestly, customer service was very bad and I'll speak the truth always.

If I could give a -5 I would, my 19 yr old daughter and 2 friends rented from Nicholsons.What a shower they are , first day they had a leak and had to move out for a short while.Intermittent WIFI , which still isn't fixed properly and that's after a year.Giving builders access to the property without sufficient notice and the girls were still in bed. Beggers belief, not to mention aggressive language , banning the girls from contacting the office when they had complaints. Empty threats of legal action ,if I left a bad review apparently this is defamatory ,not if it's the truth it's not.The list goes on and on ,please avoid at all costs , they are not fit to rent to students,or anybody for that mater.

This is incorrect. the "leak" you refer was a tenant above leaving the shower running which we cannot control. Notice was always served for access. WiFi we are not the provider as you are aware. The aggressive language was from yourself when you rang the office ranting, raving and swearing at a young female bringing her to tears, hence you being banned. However you weren't as aggressive when a gentleman from the office called you. Dealing with you was one of the worst cases we have had in over 16 years of award winning management.

I live in one of their flats by Kensington.My key for the main door has not been working for a week now, reported it on the app and even emailed but all in vain.How does someone come from work and stay by the door 1-2 hrs waiting for anyone from the house to come and open ?It’s a shame for a landlord to treat their customers that way !! Unfortunately Sandra a reoccurring theme throughout your tenancy is you do not follow the processes or contact the correct person. On numerous occasions you have been told to contact your property manager but you won’t for some reason. We haven’t had any report from you regarding such a repair and given that no other resident has an issue perhaps, once again, you are using the wrong key as you have in the past. We have attempted to call you on several occasions and messaged you but we still await your response. It’s a shame you leave such reviews but don’t answer your phone for us to resolve any issues.

Never in my life have i experienced unprofessional, clueless , ignorant people like I have dealing with Nicholson Lettings. Despite the horrific text messages from them demanding money from myself, I was promised a property and 28 days before I was due to move in Paul Nicholson CEO of the firm advised me over WhatsApp message he had no idea who I was or what I meant following our chain of texts. When I advised I was reporting to the property ombudsman I was blocked! Anyone dealing with this company good luck I wouldn’t wish it on anybody money grabbing scum be careful ! Ignore any 5 star rating clearly the firm themselves they are absolutely horrendous i couldn’t advise any further to stay away!

It is unfortunate that you failed referencing and didn’t qualify for a property as you didn’t earn sufficient income to rent the 1 bedroom apartment you applied for. The second time you came back to us (despite apparently the terrible service you received) our CEO said he would try and assist but a property never came available for you. Good luck with your search.

If there was a zero star rating!This company are not to be trusted in any way shape or form. The apartments and the brochure are totally different and the reality is the apartments and building are falling to bits, dirty and disgusting. My daughter was refused viewing them before commiting to rent with the excuse of covid, builders in etc. When we wanted to cancel the contract under ‘Property Mis-description’ Paul got abusive (using the ‘F’ word) and hung up on my husband twice! Only when he knew we had a very reputable Estate Agent ourselves and knew the LAW, did he refund her. I could go on….

Upon receiving the keys, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the apartment was as luxurious and immaculate as advertised in their online video. They certainly lived up to their promises. My husband is thrilled with our new place, and the assigned property manager has been exceptionally helpful and responsive, ensuring that any concerns are promptly addressed. Agreed to an off plan rent agreement in their Beechams building project. Paid the deposit, first months rent, mattress and keys payment. The project was continuously delayed and was finished 6 months late. Upon arrival the flat was completely unfinished with counter tops still rough and carpets not fitted correctly. The worst situation I was put in with this company is that the floor plan I was promised was completely false, I was promised a large bedroom on the plan which turned out to be a shoe box sized square room. After raising my concern with the employee tasked to greet new tenants I was met by a rude man unhappy to help (Callum) and was advised to call their customer service which of course never answered my calls. I explained that the flat was unliveable for me and my partner and left, which lead to me receiving sarcastic and passive aggressive texts from Callum. I eventually received £300 of the £1200 I had paid total. The pictures may look nice on their website but do not be fooled, awful letting agency. I look forward to the unprofessional reply they leave on all negative reviews.

This is factually incorrect as you are aware.
The repair was done by an outside contractor very quickly, especially given the current weather conditions. You demanded internal decoration to occur prior to roof repairs which is unreasonably and certainly not something anyone would entertain. You have been untruthful, rude and aggressive to team members who aired concerns about attending your property. We have also tried to attend the property which you have rejected on several occasions.

The hotel quality foyer/entrance provides a great first Impression for visitors. The few problems I've had over those five years including during covid have always been dealt with in a prompt and professional manner. Another big plus for me is the virgin business internet supplied through out the property which helps massivel on days im working from home. Highly recommended as the 5 years plus would suggest

Before moving to the property, I have been so anxious and scared that it might not look the same as what they advertised as they only do online viewing. I was so relieved when I finally got the keys to my flat in Astoria St Helens. It is exactly the same as how they advertised. The flat was fresh and very clean, looked like nobody lived there before. Another bonus is having a very responsive property manager, Iestyn. All i get is excellent customer service! He response to my queries as soon as possible. I have been living here for a month now and so far so good. Only downside is the parking for residents as there’s no designated parking for each one so its a first come first serve basis but you will find street parking nearby just beware of the restrictions. Apart from that I am happy I am staying at one of Nicholson’s properties.
