We cannot recommend the staff at Wards in New Ash Green enough. From the very first visit by Jade to value the house and talk us through the moving process (which we last did 20 years ago...) to the after-sales care by Shelley, nothing was too much trouble and their attention and service were absolutely outstanding.Despite buying a house 200 miles away from our area, trying to move during the pandemic, and having a very long chain to contend with, Jade and Shelley definitely helped to reduce the stress. In particular, they were instrumental in keeping the communication lines open throughout the chain and chasing solicitors etc on our behalf.Don't bother with any other estate agents, go with Wards!

It is with great sadness that I have had to take my property of the market for now due to illness, Dan the manager came to value my house, he was brilliant, very friendly, then I had Dani and Kris come to do the video of the house, again they were chatty and a pleasure to meet, once I started getting viewings coming in I then was dealing with a lovely young man named James, after meeting him only a couple of times it was like I had known him for years, I want to Adopt him, he is a breath of fresh air, I wouldn’t sale my house with any other estate agents, I feel that Wards in Ramsgate have been so thoughtful in more was than one.

I dealt primarily with Richard Toombs, he was efficent, prompt and very friendly. When he came round to have the consolutation, he was honest, reassuring and knew exactly what he was talking about, he had all the paperwork and information I could have possibly wanted. He was also very willing and able to jump through the legal hoops with me in selling the house for a deceased family member. Calum and Nikki, were also extremely helpful and were excellent at keeping me informed with emails and phone calls, I felt as though I was included in every step of the process, which was very much appreciated. I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone at the larkfield wards, I am very grateful for all your help and services, especially during the pandemic time where you still kept on trying.

Very poor service. Our home was on the market and without checking the buyers credentials the buyer withdrew. It was by luck a passer by explained Wards would not allow them to view our property as it was under offer. I explained I or Wards had not seen any evidence of their finances and allowed them to view our property. Fortunately they put in a higher offer and my original offer withdrew. I did all the leg work and Wards did nothing, except put a for sale up. My husband took the video of our home which should have been done by Wards. I will never use Wards again, they are over priced and unwilling to recognise when they could have effected our chain. We would have been better of using Purple Bricks as we did all the work.

We have used Wards at least 3 times before and would have recommended them. Sadly we cannot on this occasion. We were advised that our buyers were cash but this was not the case. The first we knew that there was an equity transfer was when we received a call from their lender for a survey. We also were advised by our buyers that when the due diligence was carried out initially Wards were aware of this equity transfer. This information was not communicated to us. This added another set of Solicitors who were very difficult to satisfy. Both ourselves and our buyers undertook obtaining documents from councils, insurance companies and chasing information on the chain below in order to bring success. In our opinion you pay a substantial amount to Estate Agents compared to your Solicitor who has all the work and hassle.

GoogleBeing a first time buyer the thought and process of buying a house is a daunting one. The staff at wards Rainham could not have been more fantastic and made the whole process an exciting time. Darren Williams helped us to find our lovely first house, answered any queries we had and was always easy to get hold of. Well what can I say? Called Walderslade branch regarding putting my property on the market beginning of July along came Kenny George a very friendly helpful representative of Wards. I was very concerned that due to Covid19 I had a lot of charity bags of clothing and bedding ready to go to shops and thought house looked abit cluttered. He reasured me that everything would be fine. After talking through all the contract paperwork I was happy to proceed with sale. Happy to say just 3 days after the property went on the market it was sold and I am now at the beginning of October exchanged and completed. Kim Batchelor the go between of myself, buyer, solicitor and Wards was very organised and made sure all the paperwork, searches and dates were passed onto each of us for a smooth sale and completion.All I can say is a very big thank you to everyone involved making it a stress free experience. I will recommend Wards to anyone I know selling their property.

At Wards of Ramsgate, Maria Byrne in particular was very efficient in finding me a new tenant within a short space of time. In fact, the day after the last tenant left, there was an open house viewing in my flat. She has given me confidence in how she and Wards run things and I will definitely be continuing with the company. Even after a few setbacks which were not of her making, I felt she made it a priority to not just get a tenant, but the right one and her approach is always informative, courteous and helpful.

The worst selling and buying experience ever at Wards Rochester/Strood! Avoid this ‘estate agency’ at all costs. Unprofessional, terrible communication, lack of pace, amateur. Don’t be fooled by their reach, there are plenty of other more professional and conscientious agents out there. And never, ever, take any of their partner referrals like Solicitors, they’re equally terrible and will make the process even more stressful. We’d never use them or their contacts again and strongly advise you not to either. Simply awful.

Incredibly incompitent management. It took a month to recieve deposit back (as per law it is 10 days), because the person in higher management was a "trainee." Everytime I tried to call them about returning the keys and the flat the agents were too busy to speak with me. I had to go to the office to figure out what exactly they wanted from me to complete the hand off process. Will continue to not recommend to students and professionals in the area for their poor customer service.
