Not at all what I would call good build . Lots of issues , dpc breached , faulty plumbing , water leaks , cracks in all the plasterboard joints ,suspect electrical ,bad brickwork , toilets that don’t flush , leaks in the roof . Non existent customer service

If I could give no stars I would! Shockingly bad finish to both the house and the estate as a whole. Very poor customer care all the way up to Area Manager level. Do not buy a Bovis/ Vistry Home.

Horrendous build quality. Lots of problems that have never been resolved. Customer care was very poor and caused lots of stress for us. Many people on our site have been moved out of there homes due to problems. Would never recommend buying a Bovis home to anyone.

I would not trust this company to build a house out of lego.Really poor communication, no reply when leaving voice mail or emailsFailed to correct massive snag list, And now giving themselves a pay rise. Hope you choke on my hard earned money.

Works done to a poor quality. A lot of things done in breach of contract. When trying to get issues resolved we have had to go to managing directors to get any form of response and they are not always useful.Overall not a good experience.

Can’t rate Dee at Bovis (Silk Mill -East Hanney, Oxfordshire) enough. She was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, without being at all pushy. The very best customer service and felt more like a partner than sales. Can’t recommend her highly enough.

Had no street lights outside my house for over 2 months and after ringing customer service still waiting for light to be repaired. Barracks Road, Fremington. Rang today so hopefully it will be sorted.

One of the worst and laziest companies I have ever dealt with. I wish I had seen this page before purchasing a home through them. Be prepared to have awful standard and nobody getting your snagging signed off.

Avoid this company at all costs. Our whole estate has build problems. The customer service managers, area managers do not even reply to emails nor call you back. These are real rogue traders. To give just the 1 star is far too generous.

Been in a Bovis 5 bed home nearly 5 years. I have too many problems to list. They deserve a zero rating. Customer service is completely lousy once they have your money. They are a disgrace for an excuse of a company!!

Totally disgusting, unethical company. Moves people into unfinished houses, appalling customer service. Shirk their responsibilities and pass people onto nhbc well within warranty period. Shoddy, poor quality homes and they don't care about the stress and health problems they cause their customers.

We were lucky and had a good build manager.Like any new build there lots of minor defects.They fixed them all in the end.Took a couple of years to get everything sorted, but the overall quality of the build was very good.

Having heard the problems people have been talking about on the radio this morning and the reported standard of their build, I think BOVIS are probably the last builder I would want to buy from. What ever happened to McAlpine?
