I can not fault the service I have had with Julian Wadden - Marple branch. Dan was really helpful and efficient in valuing my property and straight away I got plenty of viewings and I quickly got an offer. Since then Laura has kept me updated regularly, and has been absolutely excellent in getting back to me straight away if I have ever emailed or phoned. She worked as a great team with my solicitor and what can be a really stressful process has really been plain sailing! An extra thing which I thought was lovely was that Laura seemed genuinely excited for me when I came to exchange contracts and it made me feel she actually cared that I had successfully sold my property - she must deal with lots of clients every day but she understood that my sale is very important to me! Mark was extremely responsive to our emails and even sped up the whole process for us to move in quicker than anticipated due to work commitments. Dan, Amber, and everyone else from Julian Wadden (Marple) involved in the sale of our house were professional, friendly, helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. We chose Julian Wadden as their published statistics suggested that houses advertised with them sold quickly, so we were slightly disappointed that it took so many viewings to find the right buyer for our house, but they persevered and the right buyer did eventually come along.

Started renting out my house using this branch as agents to find a tenant, with no management service. Basically everything that could have been done wrong, was. Such as: - Offered to gift the tenant multiple appliances without my consent - Failed to inform the tenant about key facts with the property (no loft access, the hob being induction) - Didn't deal with inventory amendments - Tenants reference flagged that they had lied on their application (or that JW had lied to me...) and this was not addressed Ultimately, I spent more time chasing JW than it would have taken me to research everything and set the tenancy up myself. This is the entire reason when the tenant was ultimately evicted (for causing excessive damage to the property), I have done everything myself.

From start to finish Lauryn and all the staff at Julian Wadden based in Stockport were professional, quick to respond and friendly. Myself and my partner are first time buyers and had a lot of questions for them which they were happy to answer and they responded in a timely manner. Suzie at Julian Wadden Marple was fantastic from start to finish throughout our house sale process. She listened to what we wanted and tailored the advertising to suit, always updating us when there was news to report and was proactive through out the whole process. Suzie was very positive and honest at all times even on the odd occasion that things did not go quite as we would have hoped as the sellers. We found our home through Julian Wadden and found the experience with this estate agent to be very positive. We were initially shown around the house by an agent who was very helpful and did not make us feel any pressure to buy. I felt comfortable asking questions and was able to look round the house at my own pace. I felt we were given good information about the house and local area. Laura was our contact at the Marple office and we have found her to be friendly, professional and helpful. There were some challenges with the chain below us and Laura worked hard to follow the different parties involved up. We felt that Laura communicated well between us and the lady selling us the house and we were very happy with everything. We also used a financial adviser, Charlotte, through this branch who has been really helpful too. Thank you.

Whatever you do if you can avoid buying through Julian Wadden do so. We wanted to purchase a beautiful property and the lady who dealt with us called Laura, just wants to squeeze every last penny out of you. She doesn't put your offers through and must be desperate for sales and commission. So is the owner of this branch. Absolutely disgusted in the way they have both spoken to us and how they've dealt with our offers. When viewing the property, the estate agent, Claire had said that offers between £300,000 to the guide price will be considered and put through (Claire was really nice with us during the viewing). Within the last twenty-four hours, we had increased to £20,000 more than our original offer. In the end, we made an offer that was £5,000 under the asking price of the property and Laura still had the audacity to ask for more. She had even called us a liar. We had put an offer in and she told us that she believes there's no point in putting that particular offer through as it's not half way of the guide price. And now, she is denying saying that to us, the owner is ofcourse is covering her back and says he was in office during the phone call and also denies Laura saying this - There is no sense of customer service at all. Do not trust anything they say. If there was higher offer than what we had placed, she should have returned a call and said that there is a higher offer than ours and if we cannot go any more then, the owner will accept the highest offer and say sorry. They string you along. They are direspectful and difficult. The company is all down to greed. We have now lost out on a property of our dreams, and it is such a shame that the family that own this property is selling their home under this so-called professional estate agent that alledgely "work harder on your behalf" - Load of rubbish!

Brilliant service from Jonathan and the team (particularly Laura and Emily). This is the second house I've bought via Waddens in Marple and I can honestly say the service has always been excellent. Nothing is too much trouble, calls are always answered and returned. All the staff have excellent knowledge of the local market and all the properties on their books. 5 stars all the way from me, it's the only agent to use locally (and I say this from experience of dealing with some of the other agents in Marple). I recommend Waddens to all my friends and family. As far as I'm concerned if you want to sell your home, and want a professional service, there is only one number to ring.

We sold our property through this branch of Julian Wadden and the team were highly professional and hard working. Jonathan, Laura, Suzie and Alex kept us up to date every step of the way. All correspodence was replied to immdiately and in great detail. Our property was located in Hazel Grove and although this branch was out of the area it did not make a difference to the number of viewings we had. They sold our property quickly and were very professional in all viewings. Laura was exceptional at chasing Solicitors and liasing with the other Estate Agent to ensure a smooth sale. I am very pleased with the way Julian Wadden have handled my case from start to finish. From the first moment Jonathan was very professional and prompt in returning my calls and also his knowledge and understanding on the valuation. I was very reluctant to use a main street agent because of bad past experience when dealing with the staff, but I can honestly say that all the staff at the Marple branch have been excellent. I have been constantly updated by different members of the team. The advert on right move is also of a very high standard in terms of pictures and verbatim. House hasn't sold yet but will let everyone know how the process has been in terms of finishing the sale.
