Buying/selling a house is certainly never a “smooth sailing” process however, with Bonners & Babingtons it really can be smooth sailing! With thanks to Ian and team for excellent communication, accommodation of requests and a highly professional service. No doubt we’ll need B&Bs service again sometime in the future and we certainly would recommend B&B to anyone. Thanks Ian!

Called in to view Simmons way and spoke to Brian Lane. I have been speaking to many agents but not one as rude and unprofessional as Brian. Didn’t want to show the property and had told us to drive around the area before booking a viewing!!! I live an hour away from this area and don’t understand why on earth this is necessary if I know the area. Felt like Brian was just being lazy and was tying find any reason to not do the viewing. He continuously said the owners instructions are this so I hope that the owner sees this and can correct Brian if he’s making his own rules. Brian is basically turning away business instead of explaining the area. Good luck selling, definitely not doing business with you!!!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I am most grateful to Robbie and to Jane at Bonners and Babingtons Marlow for their expertise and efficiency in securing a lovely tenant within two working days. Robbie, a seasoned hand, has been doing a great job of sorting out my lettings for around 30 years. He knows the market inside out. Jane was also excellent and really pulled out the stops to cover all the ground work and necessary bureaucracy with sensitivity and no fuss.

Having dealt with many estate agents over the years I found the service I recieved honest and straightforward and correspondence dealt with efficiently and promptly. Ali, Romilly and Clare make a great team. Friendly helpful approachable knowledgeable. Felt my business was important and that they wanted and would do the best for me as their client. Ali's experience, professionalism and warm personality instill confidence that is followed through by her team. My day to day dealings were mainly with Clare, who I cannot fault at all, she was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and queries answered quickly , even on her days off. Successful relationship. Very impressed. Thank you Ladies.

Robbie Hearn found a really great property for me to rent that I am so happy with! He was very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. He was very knowledgeable about the area too and was able to answer all my questions about the area and surrounding places, this was great as I am coming from London and don’t know the area at all. I felt very well looked after by Robbie and felt that he cared I would be living somewhere that matched what I was looking for and therefore be happy and enjoy living in my new home for now! I never want to write bad reviews unless I feel that my time was disrespected and I think whoever wants to contact this agency should be aware of. I sent my first email through Zoopla asking if the landlord would have accepted the end of September as starting date. I have reiterated this point during the viewing and now after 3 days I have been told that the Landlord won't consider such date. Not only didn't pay attention to what we said but now trying to deny it. Terrible attitude and we will be careful to stay away from this business for the next future. Regards, Roberto & Judy

Thank you for your review. Its disappointing that you feel we deserve 1 star. We feel that a response detailing the facts is justified therefore. • Your original email to our company stated that you needed to move ‘By’ the end of September and NOT ‘At’ the end of September. • We received your offer via email, following the viewing that day on Saturday 19/8/23 and dealt with this once the office reponed Monday 21/8/23 • You were made aware of another offer on the table. • The Landlord asked if you were able to move in sooner to help them decide. • You then proceed to write a negative google review on 23/8/23, two days after we received your offer in writing, and not even allow us to go back to the Landlord to say they you were not able to move sooner than end September. Unfortunately, due to many reasons a Landlord may not always respond straight away. Equally in such a demanding rental market, the landlord sometimes must make a decision from multiple offers, which can result in a slight delay in making a decision. We are sorry that you feel that it has not been the best experience for you and that our Landlords instructions where not the outcome you wanted, but we act as agents for a Landlord and I am sure you will understand we need to take instructions from our clients. As you can see from our many 5 star google reviews, our approach is always to be fair and transparent. We wish you every success in finding a suitable rental property where the landlord fits within your timescales.
